RE: LIL WIZARD
Would anyone have a scan of the Carl Goldberg Lil' Wizard decal sheet that they'd be prepared to post here, or email to me? I'm looking mainly for the tail flash with the CG logo, so the Brodack decals are no use, since they replace it with their own name. Any help would be MUCH appreciated Wilf

RE: OS MAX 10S
Hi Folks, the various versions of the OS 10 come up regularly on eBay, no-one seems to want them, I've picked up both the C/L & R/C versions recently in excellent condition for very little money. they are a very nice little sport engine, not great power, but boy! are they reliable!

RE: cox control line
I've noticed a lot of messages on this forum (and others) from people unable to obtain Cox .049 engine spares and fittings, go on to eBay and search the online shops for "XENALOOK" they carry a large range of new Cox spares. They are a Canadian company but ship worldwide, I have had excellent service from them, they don't have every spare obviously, but their stock varies regularly and the odds are that sooner or later you will find what you need. Or contact them and ask if they have what you are looking for.

[quote]ORIGINAL: Spin2 [b]U Tube is loaded with pulse jet clips, here a just a few. I know that, many years ago, the engines were illegal if used in anything but a c/l model. As I say, I am prepared to be corrected on this by more knowledgable people, but anyone contemplating building a pulsejet model in the UK would be as well to check the legal aspects thereof.

Enya 35 Help Wanted
Hi Folks I've just got hold of an old Enya 35-V T.V in nice condition, which I'd like to use for a stunt engine. This would involve removing the R/C throttle and fitting a replacement venturi insert and a standard needle & spraybar (Yes, I know I could just lock the throttle open and use it "as is" but I'd like to get rid of the big lump of carb if possible) Now, I've Googled everything I can think of to try to find the neccessary parts, without success, does anyone know of a supplier who might have them? I had an Enya 29 many years ago, and it came with various sized plastic venturi inserts, did the 35 have a plastic venturi like that? If Enya parts aren't obtainable, does anyone know of another engine who's venturi and needle assembly would fit? Any help will be much appreciated.

RE: Hi I want to do C/L pulse jet speed project
You're quite right, Rock, if you don't get airflow round a Dynajet real quick, it starts to melt! The jet in my photo is what is called a "valveless" pulsejet, (Not sure of the technical details) you can run those statically for a short time (If you can stand the noise, and the bench is REALLY solidly fixed!)

RE: Hi I want to do C/L pulse jet speed project
Flew a pulse-jet once, many years ago, never again! The noise, the 2' tongue of flame out of the rear, and the speed and pull on the lines frightened the **** out of me! If you DO decide to go ahead, make ABSOLUTELY sure that you use the heaviest braided steel lines you can get, and that the whole leadout/bellcrank system is as strong as it's possible to make it, use a steel bellcrank and make sure that it is really strongly attached. If that thing gets loose you have a lethal unguided missile! Oh, and wear earplugs! My advice really is, stay away from the things!

If anyone needs free c/l plans, try here... http://uk.geocities.com/the.elmores@btinternet.com/_cat001.html Plans are in sectional .jpg format unfortunately, but with a little trial and error you can print them out and glue them together.

RE: silk span needed
Banana oil is still available, you can even get it on eBay! Never understood the name, it's got nothing to do with bananas, or oil!
