Hi Jim I totally agree with you ...It's time to change subject ..... We were in Pombal, had time to chat ... No one here was surprised regarding the quality, and the service of CA Model... Maybe they are not interested in the European market ? So now, I know where not to go .... After reading this http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/fg206/36191-ca-models-passport-delux-arc.html I understand better your post [:)][:)][:)][:)] You did a very good job , I saw your plane at the Tangerine , congratulations .... So I'm really surprised you bought an ARF Kit .... Anyway if you want another one, mine is on sale. I can ship it to you in Florida Hope see you in november and have a drink . Jean-Paul

Luizinho here is what I was expecting to receive ...... But I'm stupid, that one was built for .... .... Check here, you will notice a slight difference in weights http://toddblose.homestead.com/Pass-Port_build.html Give a look at Chad's posts about the XIGRIS from ZN LINE, and check the weight, as wall as the SPARK from Krill or the OXAI AZURIT ... No need to juggle for saving weight.

RE: CAMODEL PASSPORT DELUXE KIT
Thanks Luizinho to note the difference between how was the fuselage when I received it with the engine firewall , and now after we began to work on it. I don't think the balsa paint is an issue, looking to the roller paint job on the fuse stabs and wings[:(] Thanks too if you identify this fuselage as a carbon kevlar one ! Seems others guys don't have the same opinion. Sure I missed something .. I can fly without wheel pants, without spinner, could use a 450 mah battery for the servos, use a PT carbon fiber prop, and a 3900 10s FP [:D][:D]

RE: CAMODEL PASSPORT DELUXE KIT
The weight issue is no surprise with this plane. I saw a few of them on the edge weight wise at the US Nats. Some were using 4350ma flight packs and utilizing more of the capacity than I would ever feel comfortable using. _____________________________ Joe Lachowski NSRCA 330 Thanks Joe, I really had appreciated to be informed of this weight problem ........ before ordering.. RE: ZN Line Xigris Build Thread
Anyway the result is a high quality kit. Professionaly designed and built by F3A competitors Stiff, light and quite ready to paint fuselage. The weight with a TP-ProLite V2-20C 4350 mAh, 2x5S 20C really close to 4710 g RTF Hope Jean-Pierre ZARDINI, the guy behind ZN LINE, will offer soon an in the mold painted version of both C1 and C2

RE: CAMODEL PASSPORT DELUXE KIT
Weight update Even after trashing al the craps installed in the CAMODEL Passport Fuselage and we replaced them by the lightest components, the weight is 5200 g ....NOT legal.... Hope you checked the weights at the NATS !!!! and not with a dummy battery [:@] We used Marquet carbon fiber spinner Hacker c 50 13 XL Jeti opto 99 without the radiator, saving 50 g Futaba 9650 for the elevators, 351 for the rudder, 451 for the ailerons 4500 10S Hacker top fuel pack So I plan to use a TP-ProLite V2-20C 4350 mAh, 2x5S 20C , special cable(1+ and 1-, 2 white for the signal) for the elevators servos, changing the BLS 451 with 551 (one once saved), and drill ... holes .... This kit is a pure s h i t So many time wasted to have it legal ! And it is sold as a DELUXE KIT [:D] CAMODEL NEVER AGAIN

Nats 2009 are over.. Congratulations to the winners, and the lucky guys flying a Passport. I will have to fly my Integral at the French championship. As everybody can imagine, I have no news from Marcelo COLOMBO !!! I didn't received any e-mail, even saying " Sorry, my 4 years old son sent you the wrong fuselage.. what can we do to find a gentleman agreement and solve the problem ....."[:D] So now the Nats are over, maybe a field Rep could pm me, certifying what the fuselage is, Carbon Kevlar or Fiber Glass.[:)] Any suggestions about an action against CAMODEL? RE: CAMODEL PASSPORT DELUXE KIT
Many thanks guys. I would like to thanks all of you who sent me pm, showing their support, and sharing their bad experience ... I'm really surprised so many of you had problems with CAMODEL, and these guys are still in the business. According to the numerous pm I received, customer service is un unkown word from them if you live outside of South America. When I received my kit, I sent an e-mail to M.COLOMBO with the part number of the fuselage, asking if there was no mistake in the shippement. Answer was no, everything correct .... So I had like some field Rep pm me, certifying what the fuselage is, Carbon Kevlar or Fiber Glass. Jean-Paul

RE: CAMODEL PASSPORT DELUXE KIT
Hi Apereira Thanks for the good idea to sell the Kit,.....but after all the problems guys had here in Europe around France with the Genesis and other models, nobody wants to buy something from CAMODEL now. I had appreciated to be informed before ordering my Kit. I'm quite sure there was not a single Camodel flying at the Tournoi de Champagne. Seems to me now a lot of people have problems too with .......which name.....!!!!! Marcelo COLOMBO....!!!! And not just unknown pilots like me, I'm talking about TOC and WC competitors .... But Apereira and Tuny, I would like you to understand I paid more than 3000$ for a PASSPORT DELUXE KIT. A light one for electric .... the kit is heavy with an engine firewall installed With quick release devices for engine cowl and canopy ....... this one don't have With a split rudder ........ standard rudder Paint job is nice from far but far from nice, I can post pictures if you want, just a monday work, Lights carbon fiber tubes ......the tubes are home made, unfinished, the wing tube has already slope, and you can't insert the stab tube in the fuselage ..... You told me the hole in the rudder post was normal in your opinion as well as the holes on the top of the wings for a screw ......are you kidding ? Is that you call a Deluxe Kit, no pre-hinged, wrapped ailerons ..... !! The fuselage ........ should be Carbon Kevlar. STANDARD ( KIT, ARC, ARF) : Fiber Glass Fuselage. Wings, stab, rudder, sheeted with balsa 1.5 mm. SFG (side force generator) Plug in wing and Stab. Carbon Landing Gear Formers and Parts Plywood in 3 mm Firewall in balsa 4 mm with fiberglass Fuselage floor in balsa with fiberglass. Wing and Stab Insidence regulator. ARF : Wing and Stab covered with Oracover. Fuselage painted and laqued DELUXE VERSION Idem Full Version plus: Fuselage Carbono Kevlar. Wings and Stab painted and laqued. Ultralight wheels. You can see what I received !!! According to John ( Hi John), Fifou and Todd, this is a Fiber Kit fuselage .... So I paid for a DELUXE KIT, and I received a STANDARD ARF Fuselage What's the name of this in spanish, how do you say in Venezuela....... when you make pay a customer a product, and you ship something else ? In french it's just aggravated theft. I have been trying for 2 months to return the plane at my own charge to CAMODEL, or the Spanish Distributor .......fruitless Last e-mail I received, because M.C. don't want to talk with me on the phone, I asked him many time , just to find a friendly agreement, I should wait until after the WC in Portugal they find a possible customer, and ship the kit at my own risk...... That's good customer service
