If you're not happy with the set-up on the helicopter, you can send it back and we'll go through it checking everything out and get it back to you in excellent flying condition. We have also changed our approach on these helicopters and all helicopters will be pre-inspected before they are sent out. Jim

RE: New Version of Honey Bee King
I don't remember what the Futaba radio is but you need to have a transmitter with the same frequency and a negative shift. To route the antenna, use the tube that comes with the helicopter. It's in the foam packing on the top where the instructions are. Push it through the two holes in the skid and run the antenna through it. Jim

RE: New Version of Honey Bee King
We have plenty of the brushless motors, speed controls, and pinions listed on our site in stock. I put the EK5-0080 on mine but I haven't had a good chance to try it out. My brushed motor was still running but it would ocassionally get stuck in a dead spot after landing. Plenty of people are purchasing the EK5-0006 also. The specs are as follows: EK5-0004 - 40g, 28 mm lg, 25.9 mm dia., 2.3 mm shaft dia., 3100 rpm/v, 1.5 A, 80 % max efficiency, 13 A max current, 25 A speed control req'd EK5-0006 - 58g, 28 mm lg, 27.7 mm dia., 2.3 mm shaft dia., 3800 rpm/v, 2.0 A, 80 % max efficiency, 20 A max current, 25 A speed control req'd The EK5-0006 is a little bigger than needed for normal flight but helps for 3D. No idea on the gyro. We will soon be carrying the e-sky heading lock gyro. I tried to install the metal parts but the blade grips won't work without the central holder set. The locknut is an M3 thread. Jim

RE: New Version of Honey Bee King
Sorry for the delay. I don't see that we ever received an e-mail and I don't always log on to RC Universe. However, I just just responded to the pm. Normaly we respond to all e-mails within a day and usually in the evening. All shipments go out the day after payment is received. In order to keep costs down we don't currently accept credit cards. We can accept them through PayPal and you can still send payment even if you don't have a PayPal account. We can send an invoice from them. It's been really busy lately with the delay in the shipment and we got a little behind. We are now caught up and it shouldn't happen again. Thanks for your understanding, Jim

Make sure you wait for the gyro to calibrate before trying to fly it. If you move the tail servo arm before it's done calibrating it won't work. You'll know it's done when the light changes and the servo moves a little bit. Jim

We're actually a little low on parts right now. We weren't real sure how well these would sell. Now that we know, we have a large supply of parts coming in with the new helicopters. We shouldn't be running out any time soon.

RE: New Version of Honey Bee King
First I want to thank all of you who have purchased the e-sky Honey Bee King II from us. Sorry for the delay but e-sky was out of stock on some of the items we wanted and postponed our order. They have been shipped to us and should arrive by monday or tuesday. For all of you that have prepaid, we will be adding a set of spare blades to the order at no charge. When the order comes in, we will have the helicopters in both colors, bare bones kit, all available spares, and all of e-sky's hop-up parts. We will also be carrying the carbon fiber version as soon as it's available. As far as the belt alignment goes, I found that the best way to center the pulley is to make a new spacer for under the drive pulley and drill a hole in the main shaft at 90 degrees to the original at the increased height. We are considering offering the main shaft with spacer at the same price as the main shaft, if there is enough interest. Please e-mail if you are. jgase@jaghobies.com Pricing on the Honey Bee King II is going to stay the same as before at $149.99 plus shipping. Due to the latest changes in the Post Office rates, all shipping of helicopters is going to be $15.00. You may also add any additional parts to the order with no additional shipping added. Shipping costs on the parts is $3.00 no matter how many you buy and there is no minimum. Thanks, Jim
