RE: XYZ Ignition problems. Engine won't start. NEED HELP
ORIGINAL: kwik
ORIGINAL: SrTelemaster150 I bought it because it was the only twin 50cc with physical dimensions making it possible to get it inside of the cowling of a scale 1/5 Focke Wulf 190 D9. So the idea of a powerfull 50cc twin with these dimensions, slanted sparkplugs, is very sound for us warbird-fans. The cowling of this plane is quite small....so I cannot give up on this engine yet. I expect to get more rpm's from it with the C&H ignition, perhaps saving the project! (Adrian at C&H Ignitions; adrianc4u@msn.com ) ..............
Kwik, Could this engine be a good alternative for my new Ta152 kit? the wingspan is 114 inches but the cowl is 8.5" diameter! http://fliteskin.com/Ta152page.htm I need something that fits entirely in the cowl. What are the dimentions? Jose G

Erans, You are wright, it's been a while and I forgot. Unfortunately due to work, can not make the Rockys this year #@! That should not stopping you from going!! The strongest reason would be to see the Rockies (with warbirds flying over!) JG
ORIGINAL: erans I am in the USA on my holiday at the moment (this is written while in Yosemity NP) and won't be building for the next 5 weeks. However, I did had a chance to check the Sacrament Area Modelers club air-field and a very nice RC shop while I was in Sacramento. Unfortunately, due to an airshow held nearby, they were not flying, but they had a swap meet on that day and were very friendly. Below are some photos of the airfield. I hope to find some other oportunities during my visit. Any suggestions for clubs / shops to see on my way driving from here to Yellowstone and then to Denver?
Shame on you Erans! you should have a told us you were coming! [:D] JG

Hi Erans, nice work. I glued permanent the belly pan to the wing. It makes the wing more sterdier and also prevents fuel and oil from entering inside the wing. I mounted servos and gear valves from the top with access to all the air lines. JG

RE: Fliteskin Ta-152 H1
Ye, work permitting I'll be at WOR, with the project. Jeff, the 3 piece wing is available. I added an additional lite ply rib to the laser file so you can make the split. An aluminum tube does the rest. Evan, PIA is OK, makes me work harder. Yes the aileros should be open frame but they would be too fragile, so I use a balsa sheet with ribs on top that is fabric (solartex) covered. JG

Aileron is built up with bottom skin and ribs laser cut. After all the ribs are lined up with brass tube and piano wire going through I CA ribs to bottom skin, sand even with long T and glue top and leading edge strips to complete the sequence. JG

You can attach with silicon glue directly to the glass, should work pretty good. Why did you want ti use separate servos for the iner flaps? JG
