Tweety Bird Conversion Completed
Well I don't know how it will fly but here are the specs. The tweety bird is a 48" wingspan version of the Diry Birdy. As you can see some kit bashing took place. This one was made from a vintage kit that i purchased off from ebay. Weight: 4.5lbs fully loaded Motor: Rimfire 35-36-1200kv Prop: 9x7.5 Battery: 2x 4s - 2650ah in parallel Power: draw 500-525 watts The ESC is located in the custom made conopy with cooling holes. Two servos in the wing, two in the tail. All servos are Hitec HS-65HB When will I make a maiden flight? I don't know, have to get a decent charger and complete a few details. What do you think? will it fly?

RE: Prop Dia. Problem - Tweedy Bird
The original plan called for a .19 to .30 glow engine. the proto type flew with KB .19. The weight of the plane is 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 lbs. Seeing as I like extra power I was thinking a Eflite power 25 or 32. I don't know but i may be all washed up in my thinking. That is why I'm here fishing for advice. Which by the way I thank you very much for your input. JK1000

RE: Prop Dia. Problem - Tweedy Bird
OK so now the problem is that I can not find an electric prop with a dia. of 9" and a pitch of 9". Can a person put a prop on that is used for glow engines?
