Replacement muffler for a Evolution 26 gasser
I need to know if there is a muffler out there that will fit myEvo 26. $85.00 from Horizon is just a bit to steep. Would prefer a wrap around as the engine is going in a Percival Mew Gull.

RE: Seagull Percival Mew Gull 120 ARF
Just picked up a Evolution 26 gasser figured it would be alot easier on my wallet than my saito 150. Waiting for the first snow flake to hit which would signal the winter building season. The "Gull" build will be followed by a Sig profile Ultimate and a Sig Hog bipe. That should take care of the winter months pretty well. Well just would like to know if anyone else is going the gasser route. Joe

hatch magnets
Does anyone know what supplier would have magnets that could be used to hold hatches down on airplanes. getting sick of using screws that back out on a pretty regular basis.

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine
Kind of jumping in here mid-steam, but have they determined a price on the FM? The only reason I'm asking is that I am a vet on disability and would like to know if it is even fesible for me to start saving for one being that is the only way I can hopefully get one. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it is within reason as it seems that the price on most of the nice ones out there are way out of my reach. Thanks for any info that you can provide. Joe

I fly a MOJO 60 with a OS 91 four stroke. It will do everything and then some. Whether its down on the deck or up a few hundred, its an absolute blast. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. Joe. Bay Flyers, Sturgeon Bay Wi.

Did a "reset" and got the aileron dual rate to work. Now the problem of getting the switch to go between the "0" and "1" position has moved to the elevator! Has to be something I'm doing wrong. has to be. Joe

Dual rate switch will not switch JR7202
To make a long story short, on my 7202 when I want to switch from "0" to "1" nothing happens. So from going to low rates to high is a moot point. Anyone else ever have this happen. I'm hoping this does not mean a shipment to Horizon. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe

RE: Battery up front of a gasser
Battery for the RX. The RX itself will be located in the fuse 20" back from the battery. I will connect the two via a extension where in lies the question..will there be a problem with interference. The battery will be located below the engine box, then a extension will be run 20" back to the RX. Interference or not? The battery for the CDI is located about 12" back. Hope this description helps, I'm about ready to dump gassers! Help!!!!!!!! Joe

RX-extension-battery= Problem ?
I will be running a Brillelli 46( gas engine) on a 80" Extra using a JR 7202 for guidance. Balancing process-I always balance my aircraft by first putting them on the stand up side down, placing the battery pack on the fuse and slide it either forward or aft to determine the best balance point. As luck would have it,the battery ended up on the firewall. The RX will be about 20+" back and in order to connect the two, I will have to run about a 18" extension. If I mount the battery under the engine, leave the RX (790) at about 20" back in the fuse, will the extension cause a problem/interference? Joe

Battery up front of a gasser
I have a 80" Extra I'm going to be running a 46 Brillelli on. I have the CDI mounted on the firewall with the switch mounted on the left side of the fuse and have the battery (CDI) located inside about 12" back. Now for the main question. I normally take my main battery and put a piece of two sided tape on it for balancing purposes and do not install it inside. The reason I do this is that when I put the plane on the balancer, I can move the battery forward or aft to see where I should put in order to balance the airplane. The Extra proved to be a very tail heavy creature. I started at about mid wing and kept moving the battery forward. When all was said and done, the plane balanced perfectly with it on the firewall. Being as the RX is about 20" back, I'll have to run an extension from the RX to the battery. Will this cause interference of any kind if I mount the battery below the engine box on the firewall?
