RE: Llow time turbines for sale - Beware
I have a AMT Mercury HP. the supplied manual that came with it includes some good advice on the preperation and storage of the turbine. Whilst the notes are specific to AMT turbines, I am sure they could be be adapted to cover other makes, subject to the recommendations of the said manufacturer. Regards, Alistair

RE: 6 Engine Arado 555 flies!
John, First class show, well done, like Andy said the workmanship is the best, great team effort And with your own turbines too, like all your projects they are not for the feint hearted!! It is ironic the test flight was from a former P51 Mustang base!!!! Alistair.

RE: Maiden Gloster Meteor mk4 1:5 scale
Truly an outstanding model, first class. Great to see this classic British jet grace the sky, I am sure with with twin P 80's the sound will be close to original too. Well done Frank. I know the logistics of transporting a superb model like the Meteor would be difficult, however is it likely we will see it in the U.K. At some time? Alistair

RE: Solar Flare effect
This is one of the effects here in the U.K. Gorgeous Northern Lights displays have been filling the skies over Scotland and parts of Northern England. We do not see this display very often this far south, not in England anyway. The Red Arrows Aerobatic Team
I have just heard on the local BBC news that the 'Red Arrows' the RAF aerobatic team are after all going to remain based at RAF Scampton till at least 2014. It was announced in the early part of this year that it was likely the team would move to nearby RAF Waddington. Alistair

Reuben, That looks very nice indeed. I believe you also have a very nice Vampire T.11 in the Malta Air Museum WZ550, I am led to believe it has been restored as a Malta-based, 750 Fleet Air Arm Squadron - T22 Trainer Alistair

RE: Red arrows ground incident
Our thoughts are with his family at this time. I know it is completely different circumstances, and different seat, however does anyone remember this one:- 6th September 1975 RAF Harrier Accidental ejection - Martin-Baker Mk9A Mk1. I believe it was Flt Lt Steve Beckley, he was just leaving the Cockpit after a display at Yeovilton, when the seat fired. Alistair.

RE: BIG IN FLIGHT TRIM CHANGE OPINION HELP
I am sure you will have checked already, however is the thrust line of the turbine same as yours? Paul said the thrust line is dictated by pre fitted formers, have they been glued in correctly at the factory? Could it be a combination of minor differences to the thrust line, tail plane incidence, and wing seat incidence? Good luck.
