RE: Uploading pictures
With the last Error message I spotted this http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/uploadpro.asp?memori=&deletefile=&mode=&messageid= at the top. I first did a google search with it entered and it brought up tons of rcu threads with people having trouble uploading. About 42 pages worth of complaining. I expected the http to go to an exact spot. I then copied and pasted the http in the top of my Internet Explorer and got this page. With this attempt to upload the picture of the page I am on RCU3 It reads: Result: File is too large! and a cancel button

RE: Uploading pictures
So today when I pulled up RCUniverse I checked witch Server I was connected to, RCU2. And I bounced from FORUM to FORUM of my interest and threads I follow. I then check the server RCU had me on, RCU4. I then back arrowed and check as I went. RCU4, RCU4, RCU4, and on my last check- going to the MAGAZINE page to check I got this... They apologize for the error and say a email with my "issue" has been sent to admin team. I would like them to send me an email telling me what the "issue" is. They say to use the HELP link and fill out a trouble ticket describing what happened. So that is what I am going to do. No go on upload RCU4 this try. I'll edit lator hopfuly adding photo. I've been trying. All have been with RCU4 and this try will be with RCU3

RE: Uploading pictures
So many more tries to upload those pics and the 500 Server Error shows up in about 45 seconds while waiting for the upload. I've even closed out and came back in and got the error, rechecked the bottom Mag page numbers, and they were the same but for the time. I just logged out and signed back in, Hoping to get another provider but got RCU4 again. My cut/paste skills are improving and I will get it and share the next time it occurs or my pictures will upload.

RE: Uploading pictures
Ok Ken this is actually my second try. to reply to your instructions, as I tried the first time I got a 500 error after clicking on the MAGAZINE tab, so I took a picture of it to share with you because it had user code with it and when I tried to upload got a 500 error, so that will be the second picture if it up loads. And the second try to the MAGAZINE tab it went smothe and found these numbers at the bottom. RCU4 66.211.235.97 447730 1 11:16:28 PM EST YC And my local time was 2:20am Western Pa. Hope this helps.

RE: P-38 90
Well, Using Goggle maps I tried to measure the area. Close to 400 feet. but a truble spot is right across the midle at the half way point. It is a low spot from drainage from the parking lot. In the third to last picture from 2002 gallery photos from thermal g web site you can see the green low spot. The runway is also North/South, So we seam to have a West cross wind every year. Our club feild is like the old aero drome feild, 300' round, set up the flite line acording to the wind and you are always taking off and landing into the wind. The airshow address is on the flyer, so maybe you can goggle/map to preveiw this week.

If you check the ThermaG web site, they have a photo gallery. The only shots of the an airshow are from 2002. If you come, Bring some shade.

Well I could joke that the snow has finally melted here and I am now able to continue on this project. But the truth is the best laid plans can be pushed aside for a number of reasons. What has helped me get back on this project is my recent trip to Oshkosh. EAA Airventure. http://www.airventure.org/ Where I got to see this beautiful site...

While I was there I got to see the ladder being lowered and raised once. It looked like the handle only had one hinge point and that was on the ladder. I was given an e-mail address that may lead to actual drawings of the ladders workings. When I learn more I will share. My next project is the wings, I plan to recess the servos. I'll post photo's.
