RE: can't view offer or mark as sold
There is a problem with your Internet Explorer application. Depending on the version and your operating system, there may be a repair function in the Windows Control Panel. Or, you may want to install a different web browser such as Fire Fox or Google Chrome to see if they also have issues, which would point to some other problem on your computer.

There is no way to manually adjust the time stamp. However, in time, those figures will correct themselves as they only reflect averages.

RE: Payment????
To purchase items posted for sale in the marketplace, you must first upgrade your account to Market Authorized. This is a free upgrade and you are currently prompted to do so each time you visit the marketplace. Once you do this, you will have access to the Make Offer tool present in each active ad. After you make an offer using the Make Offer tool, the seller has the option to accept or reject your offer. If they accept your offer, the seller will send you an invoice with payment information. You would then submit payment directly to the seller and they will ship you the item listed in their ad.

RE: Not sure if this is problem.
One of our email servers is currently backed up. As soon as we can get it cleared, all emails will be sent. In the mean time, you can review your invoices from the My Ads page in the My Market area of the marketplace. Buyers can review their invoices from the My Offers page in same ad administration pages.

RE: Active/Rejected offers
There are only two classifications for offers posted to your ad. Active and Rejected. Active is of course any offer that has been posted which has not been Accepted or Rejected. Rejected includes offers that have either been Rejected by you, or Withdrawn (as in this case) by the prospective buyer who posted the offer initially. Offers that are Withdrawn typically indicate the buyer changed their mind about wanting to purchase the item.

RE: Need Trade help
I am sorry you are having a problem with another RCU member. Please submit a fraud complaint against the offending member using the form linked at the bottom of the Ratings & Security page in the marketplace. This will open a formal complaint against him and allow us to track the situation. If you still do not receive a positive response from that member within a day or two of filing your complaint, then you should seriously consider filing a report with their local police department as well as with the FBI's internet fraud division.

RE: Ad listing date snafu!
This typically happens when you begin work on an ad, then leave it unfinished and unsubmitted, then come back at a later date and complete then submit the ad. The ad date reflects when you originally started working on the ad. I have updated the submit and end dates for you.

RE: Offers
Reviewing your offer history, it appears the only time this issue occurs is when you use an apostrophe such as in "I'll" or "I'd". For the time being, I would suggest not using an apostrophe until we can track this down and provide a permanent solution.

RE: airplane/accessories/propellers
Propellers are classified under Airplanes > Accessories in the marketplace. When you start your ad, select Accessories, Electronics, Batteries & Chargers as the type in Step 1, then click Next. Fill in the rest of the details on Steps 2 - 4. When you get to Step 5 and choose the category, you will see Propellers listed under Accessories.

RE: Looking for old ad
I am sorry, but ads marked Sold can only be searched for 30 days after they are marked sold. Ads that expire without being tagged Sold cannot be searched. The only way we can find the ad is if you could provide us with the sellers username.

RE: AD DEACTIVATED!
You posted two ads for the same item, in the same category. You are permitted to post only one ad per item you are selling. If you would like to post your ad in two categories, that option is available on Step 5 of the ad create/edit page. I have credited your account for the second ad.

RE: question on checkout procedure
That is only the email address the seller is using for his Paypal account. It does not in any way indicate the type of ad he posted. By submitting your payment to that account, you are sending money directly to the sellers Paypal account. Please note that to preserve the privacy of the seller, your post has been edited to remove the address from public view.

RE: The lowball shield, Why does rcu not inforce the use of it?
machnone, Please send me a PM with the ad #'s in question so I can review the ad details and offer history. If you accept an offer, then yes, you are obligated to sell to that buyer. Remember, you as the seller have the last word on whether or not to accept an offer. If you don't like the offer, don't accept it.

RE: answer ad response
If the person who posted the ad responds to your post, you will receive an email notification as well as a pop-up when you visit the marketplace. In most cases, the ad poster will respond within a day or two. Sometimes quicker, sometimes a little longer. In some instances, you may never get a response. In those unfortunate instances, it's best to simply take note of who the other person is and avoid trying to make deals with them in the future. A member who is slow to respond to posts, will usually also be slow to respond when it comes time to sending money, or product.

RE: Can't look to see what is for sale!!!
A credit card or Paypal deposit is only required for membership levels of RC Trading Plus or higher as those accounts allow access to fee based enhancements available through the site. As long as you wish to keep your current membership level, you must maintain an available payment method through your account.

John, There are no "nazi's" involved. What you received was an automatic system generated notification stating that your account is out of date and that you need to take action in order to maintain your current membership level. Our site administrator has been notified to take a further look into why even the act of browsing ads has been blocked. Thank you for your patience.

RE: Problem marking item sold...
You are seeing this problem because you listed 2 items for sale but the offer you accepted was for 1. When you accepted that offer for 1, the site removed 1 from the quantity available leaving 1 more to sell. When something like this happens, go ahead and use the Sold to non-RCU member option to close the ad.
