RE: Difference betwwen clutch bells?
Word ^ usually you wanna do a 48 or maybe a 46. A 46 will give you top end speed... but as mentorman was sayin itll put more load on the engine... But if you go lower on the clutch bell then the load will lessen witch means more bottom end torque, but your top speed will not be as fast.

RE: Piston cuts
Lol... yea i reckon thats what they are...thats the only thing that explains why they are there other than to gyp ya...But yea its and old Rossi Black Magic..Its got that old crasy airplane lookin head, big ole silver thing with vertical fins..But yea the motor is by far the best engine weve ever had. We got it off ebay brand new fur 150[8D] and weve been racin with it for around a year and a half now...but shes leakin out the front now so its merely a back up engine... But yea, a stock one, the carb and all is HUMONGOUS... i can almost stick my pinky thru the carb... then there are allready cuts and mods to the piston and sleve and thats factory...but then agin this is a team line engine..so thats prolly what it has to do with it. The same thing(lookin) BUT mine has a silver head http://morrishobbies.com/images/Rossi125R21.jpg

RE: Difference betwwen clutch bells?
12t can give you that bottom end punch... you kno off the line.. But 21t can make your top speed much faster but itll take longer to get there. But goin from a 12 to even a 14t make ALOT of differnce...21t... i wouldnt wanna do it unles im runnin on a HUGE oval track... I usualy run 13 or 14t clutchbell everywhere i go..depends on the track..Now adding a tooth or to on the Spur gear isnt much but it still affects it....

Piston cuts
Well i have a bunch of worn out Novarossi's layin around.. and ive been studyin there piston and sleves and internal compontes... But one thing ive noticed is my Rossi Black magic..(old team line motor..) has 0 cuts on the piston...(horizontal) and it still has tons of compression but the seal of my crankshaft and crankcase has gone kuput so its leakin out the front... But the Novarossis witch ive run the life out of... they have about 2-3- or 4 cuts on the piston and well personally stock novarosis dont seem to last all that long...So If there is cuts horizontally on the piston that allows compresson to be leaked by from the vertical cuts that every piston attains over its life span...So why in the world are there horizontal cuts on the pistons?

RE: I got probs...
Well here's an update..... the hobby shop unfourtanelty had almost every part cept the main shaft and gear. So i orderd one from them(they need the help so i order from them even if it takes a lil longer) and i came home and attempted to take off the main shaft. Once i figured out what all was need to come off or loosend to remove the shaft i began dissembling.... pulled the skids off and battery and the little pin in the top then the set screw from the barrel slide. Then i tried to pull out the shaft...no luck.... i looked at it and looked at it then realize the pin hole was messed up and catching the swash plate bearing thing. Filed it down then after some tugging and pulling it came out. But then the real test came... i stuck the end of the shaft in the end of my dremel and turned it to slow.... and shure enuff its bent.. but only the slightest bit to notice it when you really look at it... but yea i got a new shaft and gear commin and cant wait to get flyin now(learing to hover)....lol[:D] Thx fur all the help guys(possibly gals) yalve taught me alot in the pass few days i didnt even think would ever kno bout these dern jalopys. Oh yea when i went up to the hobby shop, a dude came in and was buying a plane(super cub) for his son...and thankfully he used to be a heli flyer himself he had over 10 heli's all gas powerd...but he gave me some great tips to flying and the basics and starting out. Any wayz... thx gin

The rear tail motor came apart but i fixed it fur now.... the rear tail rutter isnt staying like its suppose to.... but it does have 2 lipos and the controller is ella nice. I think sumthing burnt up on it to cuz the body has a burn spot on it and the zip tie that was holding the batery was burnt a lil so iono...

I got probs...
Well... i bought a used Blade cp+ off ebay and well things arent to good. Witch im not to surprised. First off i read most of the manual on some of the basics... when i figured out how this dern thing works and how to operate i went for my first test flight. Not to good....i didnt crash but... the thing vibrates realll bad... the training gear ping pong balls are slappin the ground like crazy at about 15% throttle. I whooped out the manual and read some more....it sed to check the tracking so i did that... and well its off a lil... also when i look straight down on the heli from a bird eye view the very top of the shaft inst perfect... its makin circles like the size of half a penny. It isnt perfectly straight. Now is the main shaft not strait cuz the vibration is makin it outta wack and the vibration is from the tracking. Also i made sure my blade grips arent to tight... but iono what to tight and too loose is...it sed moderate pressure to the blades and they should move..but not too loose to where they are floppin around. So i tested their tightness they feel purty good for moderate pressure. Im hopin some one could give me a lil help here....this is my first heli cept my little saber strike(loads of fun when it isnt broke[:D]) my local hooby shop dosent kno crap bout heli's jus planes... they jus sell stuff..lol and an occasional fix. But any help would be appreciated [8|] Also i could provide a video of the heli vibratin, but no sound.

Iono i cant say... i might be a fast learner...i was with my co-axial...hopefully i will be this blade cp.... Im just ready to start doin some 3d flyin[:D]. Also my local hobby shop(like bicycle distance from my house) carries some balde cp parts soo i prolly be doin some flyin(or hoverin at least).

RE: AXe CP for newbie or not
Thx for help fellers.... lol shupid_one....my Ford Bronco 89' gets about 9-10 miles to the gallon in town...beat that..im dumpin at least 40 bucks a week in gas in the thing. But i love that truck....cant beat it. But yea i reckon ill just get a co-axial. My hobbico saber strike is just about toast. It flew perfect until my dad was retraining me by throwing things my way trying to dristract me...just to make me more focused thus a better flyer. UNFOURTANETLY he threw pecan and hit my heli.... i absolutly rigged it back together and hit hovers around purtty good. But it isnt the greatest now. So ima go with sumthin cheap like an Axe EZ.... witch ids co-axial and looks cool. Thx 4 the help thou [:D]

RE: AXe CP for newbie or not
Very intresting reading ive been doin on this thread. I myself is a total noob when it comes to helicopters. Only thing ive leard to fly is the hobbico saber strike. I tell you what i can fly it pretty dern good. Hover well....fly in figure 8's.... ive got it down pat. But i wanna step it up a notch...go a little bigger... a little more challenging. But i was lookin at the Heli-Max AXE CP RTF on ebay. There are some used ones goin 4 cheap. But im glad i read this thread. From what yall r sayin...there actually junk. I was just gonna ask...whats a good next step up helicopter for a noob. I wanna really learn a Cp.... but im afraid i wont be able to master it. I kno if i get a co-axial...a differnt and bigger one....ill learn it too quick and eventually lead to bordem. Whats the next step after co-axial and yet still cheap and durable. Keep in mind im just a part time junior in High School....so money isnt something i have alot of... [&o] Im still also tryin to learn my terminology... lol...so plz try and spell it out if you kno what i mean.

RE: does it fit?
It will most likely fit...the mounts on a .21 engine usually are the same size as .21-.32.....the mounts should adjust to the motor any ways....just take the motor mounts and bolt them to the motor then bolt the motor to the car. Make sure your gear mesh is good thou....I had a Ultra lx-pro b4 and i had a picco .26 in mine...its started to really eat some gears...i figured it was the power of the motor..but in fact it was my diffs wernt shimmed tight enuff....but your picco should drop right in...[8D]

RE: Engine head zipties
When i get a motor i get my dremel and shave the top of the head getting rid of the paint and label....and it weighs a tiny bit less.....this helps you also at big races cuz ppl cant tell what motor your runnnin...[:D] But u kno what im runnnin now cuz i put it in my sig...but if i were an outta towner at some race....sum 1 couldnt tell unless they really examine the car and motor....[:-]

However, don't get the three port version from amainhobbies. Ask your local hobby shop about the six port version. It's the same price, but more powerful. I myself have a Novarossi BF 6 port
