RE: New Indoor Drift course
Gaaah, I wish you guys were closer! It's like a 5 hour drive for me to get there You're the only place that does drifting so far that I've heard. Well I can't wait to see the tracks at least. Maybe then I'll be tempted to take that drive O_O

Thanks SIRCC, do you know how much that'd roughly run me?

RE: New to the rc drift scene
Did you mean 5000MaH or 500? Lol wasn't sure. And if you don't mind me asking, what's a good charger? Since my stock one supposedly says it takes 6 hours for a full charge. I wanted one with more amps but not sure where to look.

RE: New to the rc drift scene
Thanks for all the advice guys, I just picked up a HPI Sprint 2 Drifter Camaro today. I wanted a longer runtime than 15 mins on the stock battery, but so far I took it for a test run for a good 8 minutes and I'm in love with drifting and definitely know that this is something I want to get into.

RE: Question about this specific battery
Yeah I was thinking about getting a better charger too. But I think 15 mins of run time just isn't enough. I did my first test drive just a second ago and I am addicted to drifting now lol. So I was hoping to get a battery that has longer run time. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I will try to get a better charger too.

Question about this specific battery
Hey I had a question about this particular battery. I heard the stock battery for my HPI Sprint 2 Drift only lasts a run time of 15 minutes. And it takes 6 hours to charge (freakin ridiculous). So I was doing some looking online and came upon this type of battery and wondered if it would fit into my HPI Sprint 2, I also need to get the charger of course but wanted to know what would be the rough estimate run time for this specific battery http://www.nitrorcx.com/77p-sl5000-2s1p-40c-2222-hardcase.html Or I had this one in mind too http://www.nitrorcx.com/77p-s-4400-3s1p-30c-3333-hardcase.html

RE: New to the rc drift scene
I'm looking to probably spend anywhere from $200-$350, I'm only a beginner so a nice entry level car would be nice, especially a company with a variety of shells too. Not required but definitely a plus.

New to the rc drift scene
Hey everyone, I'm a beginner in the rc drift scene. I have been looking at videos and looking at this forum and I really want to get into this hobby. I'm in New Port Richey Florida and would like some advice to help me get started. I wanted to know what good brands to look for, and also I had a very important question Do the Yokomo's come with just the chasis, or does it come with a remote controller too? Also any links to a combo package of an RC drift car + controller and all that. Since I'm new and all, I'm not entirely sure how to purchase my first rc car, and I don't want to screw up and it not come with a controller. Basically what I'm trying to say is a ready to drive rc drift car. But later on modify it down the road.
