RE: Vmar arf's
I don't know what all the fuss is about these arfs. I have flown the Aero Subaru for two years now and is the second best ALL ROUND plane I've ever had to date in my 40 years flying. The hardware is heavy duty ,the gear is super rugged, the wood excellent and all in the right places, motor mounts and firewalls are nice and strong, hinges/ surfaces /covering /structure/ all first class. Shure the pilot is a little sick and the fuel tank is a little on the flimsy side but these are frivolous pickings. Where do you find an arf or kit any where with an epoxy cowl ??? The biggest thing about this plane is how well it flies and in any kind of wind. We all know how hard it is to find a plane like that, it's the only one you have that will do it all and in any kind of weather- the old reliable one. I'am totally blown away how well this plane flies and performs. Stunts ,rolls, inverted everything it will do for me. The weight is down and it takes a pounding on the landing. I couldn't build a kit this good even twice the price I paid for this. I would buy another one of these arfs again to be my main airplane if this one takes to the grave.

RE: Aircraft Retirement/Disposal
I try not to fly so much ,that way i don't crash so much but when I do crash (which is very rarley)i give the wreckage to our garbage disposal man at the field and he makes a plane out of several wrecks. This way we all feel a little better because a little of our wreck still lives on to fly another day -something like donating an organ. It's certantly a little different twist than the crash & burn method .

The steerable tail wheel design from the Pica P51 seems to work very well in the Bucker. It withstands a good pounding and does not strain from excessive castering....Bob

Hi Ken. Could you tell me where you got those 'Y' fuel fittings in your Jungie.I've looked everywhere and can only find the 'T ' fittings.Dobro makes something that looks like them but one of the ports is a plug.Jennyboy

The fibreglass cowl Arizona sold to me with the short kit is probably not to scale. It measures 10 3/4" across at the cylinder head location and 11 1/2" if one needs to take a blister. I found one member of RC Universe who owns and has run a larger Aviomac twin for 3 years with happy results. Waiting for email from Hobbyclub on spark plug boot measurement. Bob

Has anyone heard of Aviomac from Italy? Their profile looks impressive. They make a 77cc boxer style twin that would fit It's 8 7/8" from top of cyl. heads..I have found only good comments from the few owners out their.Hobby Club is the dealer. At 7" long & 5.17 lbs. it weighs less than the Sach Dolmer 70cc @5.525 lbs less muffler. What do you think boys ? Arizona is using the Fugi 64EI. Bob

You guys are absolutely right . I just realized the G62 only weighs 4.5 lbs..I had my heart set on a gas twin. Don't think anyone makes one in that 60 cc category. Bob

RE: Gary Allen 33% Bücker Jungmeister
Guys,I could use your advice.I have the fuse skeleton completed and have chosen to install all electrical ,fuel ,servos etc now.My 5 servos are in front of F4 and golden rods out back.I have 6 volt battery pack & receiver under the pilot.I would like to use a Brison 6.4 twin(engine, bat.,mufflers, ign, switch)aprox 6 to 6.5 lbs up front.I have a sullivan smoke system to go in.should I install it behind the pilot or just in front ?Don't know if it will be too nose heavy if smoker is put up front.I have anything behind pilot except 3 push rods. Big Bird I like the yellow. The yellow is my preferance due to It's high visibility in poor weather. I will send you a pic of my beloved 1/4 yellow Pica Waco as soon as I figure out how to do just that.Do you know if "Jay's" early fuselage pics are the 1/3 or the 1/4 bucker ? I see you two conversed early in the thread . Bob
