The engine I have is, o.s. sf 60 rear cam (circ 1967) Its old but it should be preserved if possible. It is in very good shape,so if I can find out the settings I will have running,and on a plane. I have just aquired a o.s. sf 60 (circ 1967)I dismanttled it,now how is the cam and valves set? Can any one help? I would like very much to get this engine running.

Follow BarracudaHockey suggestion only one problem,you will need to arrange for a tanker as the lipo battery will last for a week or so.[:)]

If you can't tune,don't fly,or atleast get help. Magumes are like a fine women,it takes a sertine touch if you dount have it work on it. Or as last resort read the book. Or find some more books.

I dove and dident stop, now my engine needs some work. How do you take off the prop hub? I just read that this is normal for a xyz engine bent crank soft? HELP

I placed an add yesterday but got my numbers wrong,I stated a D-7 it should be a D-8 1/3 scale. I would like to know what size engines you are useing. Also what did you use for a CG. Thanks in advance Jerry

Here is what I used,It worked great. I roughed up the spinner with 240 wet or dry very lightly,I put a bolt in the hole and gave it three coats of paint. May be I should have used a primer ? A-10 Warthog
A-10 took it to the field today,what an experance! touch the sticks and wo touchy. But the real problum it was cuting out in flight,landing was ok,inspecting motors and fans. Turned on motors for a listen bad news left motor fan rubing on housing,feels like its going to vibrate apart,shut down quick. Help!
