ALFA Models
I was on Hobby Lobby's website and noticed that the ALFA Models line of small foam airplanes are no longer available. Everyone that I had always fly well. Does anyone know if Alfa models went out of business? If not where I can I get them? Hobby Lobby's eRC line is good , but they don't have the variety the ALFA line had. Sad day in my book

I use contact cleaner. It gets electrons and electrical residue off with no problem. :)

Saw a guy wearing a T-Shirt today that had an American Flag on the front with the saying "Happy Birthday America". On the back it had a British Union Jack Flag with the saying "Happy Thanksgiving" Did not hear him say anything , so dont know if he was American or British. Happy Fourth Everone. I do have current arf's too. I started flying and building in 1974 and started buying kits then, even some arf's (Dubro made 5, I have them all). The current stuff (5 Years old or less) I got because the production runs of todays kits and arf's are not very long. Once the fad or hype is gone, finding one is tough. I do realize now I probally dont have enough birthdays left to build or fly everything I have , so some or most of it will go via local club "for sale" sites, RCU or EBay. The problem is there is new , really cool stuff coming out everyday. Oh well

Good set-up!!! Only concern I would have would be the Airtronics radio. Nothing wrong with the radio, just check with the instructers at your local club and see if anyone can buddy box to an Airtronics. I am not sure what is compatable. Find out what radios most instructers are using, that way you wont have any buddy box issues. If you have to exchange it, Tower would most likely take care of you
