RE: Brushless E-Maxx Tire Options
You could always get some beadlock tires and put them on. Just an idea, but really on 6s you have gotta stay off the throttle a little if you dont want your tires to always be ballooning. Try to drive smooth with the throttle and not from almost no throttle to full throttle etc...

RE: New HPI 1/8 Gassers
Wow really interesting...if these end up having a decent amount of power I would definitely get one. Cheaper fuel (hopefully) and if not running on nitro engine life would probably increase. Really excited to see where this is going!

Maxx Servo Help
I'm going to be getting a servo for my emaxx soon and it's rating is about 225 oz/in. of torque. I plan on using just this one servo to turn the truck, as I think it will be plenty enough power. If I am wrong here, please correct me. Anyway, to move on to my actual concern...when I put it in should I just disconnect the mounts/where the other servo would attach? Thanks for all help in advance.

RE: Whats a realy good editing software
I'd say movie maker has pretty good slow motion. Here's one of my vids that I used with movie maker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Uq9xaXq1MU&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL My trick to getting really slow motion is when you can add "slow down half" add it two or three times.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by video "transmitter" but the Hero camera made by GoPro is pretty good. It's expensive though.

RE: ElectrixRC?
I could see how that would be a fun truck to bring along on a trip to the beach or something like that, but as for parts/quality, I don't think its very practical.

Emaxx: 8 traxxas big bores with 50wt oil and rc raven blue springs. Very stiff and takes a beating! Also with some shock covers.

It seems like here in Va. in the spring its either cold, cold and rainy, or warm and rainy...still a little muddy for rc though
ORIGINAL: cooldriver385 Today I was racing (motocross) and it was 90+ here in south Florida. RE: crash damage
tell me about it... maybe a month or two ago my friend came over and I let him drive it in the street. He's one of those people who has a mad trigger finger no matter how many times you tell them to slow down, and so he's going through peoples' yards, hitting electrical boxes, and he's still on the throttle. So it wasn't long until he went WOT into a sewer, shattered the bulks and broke an a arm. And yes, that was the one time I said yes...
ORIGINAL: DEKUM510 Every time I take my maxx out someone always asks me, "can I drive it"? ONE time I said yes to a friend of mine and he ran it straight into a bench. From now on the answer is no unless its a wide open field. I really would love to have other people drive it, if they knew what they were doing.
RE: A-ARMS
Yea, if you are putting them on aluminum bulks, or any metal type of bulks you are just going to end up bending the metal.

Need a good servo-please help
Well I have finally decided that it's time to get away from the traxxas servos for my emaxx. I've already had to replace them once, and I might have to again soon. So if anyone can, I'd be thankful if someone could let me know what a good, powerful, metal-gear servo is. I want them to be able to turn my truck with ease, and not break.

RE: Slayer v. ofna hyper 10sc nitro
That is true... If I had a choice for any sc truck it would have to be a team associated sc8 nitro. Those are sweet, and there is a pretty good parts market. it is just a little pricy though.
ORIGINAL: 378 I would choose the Slayer despite it being the worse truck. Two reasons. One, I can install reverse, two, parts are far easier to get.
Slayer v. ofna hyper 10sc nitro
Well, if I get money this summer from mowing lawns etc... I want to buy one of these two trucks. I like the parts availability for the slayer, and I don't know too much about the ofna. The ofna has a hyper .18 engine in it, and I don't know too much about those(how reliable, easy to tune, etc.) I have heard that a lot of people don't like the trx 3.3, and that it is not too easy to tune. If anyone could step in with some opinions or personal experience with one or both of these trucks, the help would be greatly appreciated.

Eh not much into anything else except for classic rock. You know, Zeppelin and all that good stuff. That would probably go with rc pretty good. RE: BRUSHLESS E-REVO BASH VIDEO
Yea, it was a lot of fun. The track is actually built for my emaxx as a extremely tight woods track, but it turned out way better as an sc track. When I get enough money, I think I'm going to buy AE's nitro Sc8. Those things seem pretty sick
