RE: Which Body Shell?
Great question guys... I like them all, which is why it's a difficult decision. Right now I have a Caldera 10E with a Stampede body. The Stampede body is bit short. It's 15 1/2 inches long and just under 5 inches tall. The Caldera body is just over 17.5 inches long and 5 inches tall. I think the E-Maxx might be a better fit over the Rustler, but I don't know the measurements of either one. Here is the truck before (Caldera body) and after (Stampede body).

RE: Which Body Shell?
I found measurements on everything above and they'll all fit. Nothing is smaller than what I have (Stampede) on it now. The TopKick and Raptor are out b/c they're both 20" or more in length. The Caldera being 17.5", I don't want to go much longer than that. The E-Maxx looks like the next longest at 18", so that one and rest should be fine.

Wheels and Tires
I'm looking for wheel & tire combos that are the same or slightly larger than a set of Traxxas Talons, 12mm hubs, etc... Traxxas Talons are 4.8 x 2.7 and they're on a 2.8mm wheel. Here are some that I'm looking at, but I don't know the actual sizes. These are Electrix RC Ruckus Tires/Wheels and Earthquake 8E Tires/Wheels. Figured I'd hit the forums so that you guys can give me more information.

RE: Caldera Wheel/Tire Options
So, the answer is no. The Ananconda tires and wheels fit the Caldera, but they don't "Fit" the Caldera. They look like a monster truck on lawnmower tires. The wheels are the same size, but the tire thickness is waaay off. They look ridiculous. Next up, Talons...

Basic ESC Setup
I am setting up my Caldera 10E. I'm using a LiPo battery. Can anyone give me the rundown on where to set each of the following: 1. Running Mode: Forward Only with Brake Forward/Reverse with Brake Forward and Reverse 2. Drag Brake Force 0% 5% 10% 20% 40% 60% 80% 100% 3. Cut-Off Threshold No Protection 2.6v/Cell 2.8v/Cell 3.0v/Cell 3.2v/Cell 3.4v/Cell 4. Start Mode Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 Level 5 Level 6 Level 7 Level 8 Level 9 5. Brake Force 25% 50% 75% 100% 6. Reverse Force 25% 50% 75% 100% 7. Initial Brake Force Drag Brake Force 0% 20% 40% 8. Neutral Range 6% 9% 12% I don't think 9-10 apply to electric trucks. 11, I can figure out on my own and 12 I'll put at 2 Cells.

I have this one... http://www.hobbypartz.com/60p-dyc-1004.html $24, not bad! I really like it too. It's a very safe charger with lots of options and the display is great! You'll have to find an A/C Adapter though. I use the one from my laptop.

Hey twobnvd, looks like that 'Y' on your keyboard is messed up! [:)] Anyways, I got this program card for my Caldera: http://www.hobbypartz.com/led-program-card-for-brushless-esc.html only $7. At hobbypartz, you can purchase low cost LiPo batteries (4000mAh) for $25 or less. I too have switched to Deans Connectors and I only use the NiMH when my LiPos are down/charging. I have the same charger as nitrosportsandrunner and I love it. Got it at HobbyKing. It didn't come with an A/C Adapter though. I have to use the one from my laptop.

RE: Convert NiMH Tamiya to Deans?
Perfect. Thanks. I've just read on here that the Tamiya is not a good connector for LiPo's b/c it doesn't allow for the transfer of power that the LiPo's require.

Convert NiMH Tamiya to Deans?
On the Caldera 10E, the truck uses a Tamiya plug and so does the NiMH battery. I've already purchased two LiPo's that have Dean's Connectors. Can I convert the NiMH battery and the Caldera 10E to Dean's? Is the NiMH Battery junk if I can't convert it?
