RE: RC Surfer
Dunno Wilf, didn't time them. I picked up your props yesterday. Have not tried one yet. Thanks for the Bro Surfer Stickers. Water temp is around 17 degrees, Luke and I often stand in the water for a few packs until the sun comes up a bit 'cause it is a lot warmer than the air. Your water temp of 10 degrees is very cold. Jimi's Surf Report Went to "Shipwrecks" again this morning. Got there at 7:30 and it was 5 degrees C, just a bit warmer than yesterday morning's 2 degrees. As I walked down the track I saw that big dolphin surface about 50m south of the peak. Looks like I just missed his wave...? JIMI

Just snuck off from work for a quick look at "Pages". (4 min drive) Haven't checked in there since our last photo session with Bobski. It was only small but it was peeling perfect miniature barrels. [8D] JIMI

RE: RC Surfer
Jimi's Surf Report, Got back to "Shippies" and it was dead calm and glassed off. Still plenty of nice 1 to 2 foot waves to be had. Sun came out for half an hour and it was getting too hot, I had forgtten to bring a hat. 4th pack another front started to come through and the wind... in the car and it started to rain again. Another great day's shredding. JIMI

Dom, The 2 Leopard 3650 3900Kv I bought were $58.90 and $59.90 I got a $20 refund when I complained that they had changed from 6 screw holes to 4 with 4 large vents in each end. So I got the 2 for $98.80 inc post. or $49.40 each in a roundabout way. You scored for $45 JIMI

Hey Dom, I noticed your boards have the wide point forward a fair bit, like a 70's style single fin. Have you thought about trying an outline based on a current pro surfers boards outline. I would love to see you shape a SL8R model. JIMI

Looking for cheap props? Why pay $12 for 3 props and the seller doesn't even tell ya what size they are? Get 5 props the exact size you are looking for 27mm 30mm 32mm etc for under $3 plus a couple of bucks postage. I use the 30mm with my motor battery combo and they are great! http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__13204__2_Blade_Boat_Propellers_5pcs_bag_.html

RE: RC Surfer
Wilfrad, Is that your mjddle name? Hey dude, no I just have one, goes to esc first. My motor and ESC are running very cool even after 8 packs back to back, but it is 17 degree C water temp at the moment. Brrrrr. My theory is unless you need it then don't bother and less chance of leaks with less plumbing. Maybe on the bigger rigs it is necessary, I dunno. JIMI
