I gave up on the Redcat Tornado S30. It never did start, and I don't think it ever will. One of these days when my son comes home for a visit I'll have him take a look. Until then, it's back in it's box on a shelf in the garage. I bought a Traxxas Bandit VXL, Charged the battery, and away I went. I put these Nitro engines right up there with the engines they put on weed eaters, I can't start them either. It looks like Electric is the ONLY way for me.

Well at lest you got yours to start I on the other hand should have put it back in the box and returned with this not "TOO DUMB TO START THIS THING".. Now for the big question before I GIVE this thing away. What do I need to convert it from NITRO to Electric. Or is it just cheaper to go buy a new Electric buggy and call it a day.

I have the exact same problem. I've never been able to get the motor started. Using S&W fuel. Standard glow plug that came with it, it glows. I've reset all the valves to factory setting. I replaced the pull start with an electric starter. I've used an 18 volt electric drill to try and stat it, no luck. I did get too much fuel in the motor and stripped the first set of gears for the electric starter, now on second set. I'm so close to giving this car to my son, and buy me an electric one.

Newbe here. I have a Redcat Tornado S30. What is the exact dimensions on Redcat Rims? Heighth, width, offset. What size tires fit these rims? How is size measured?
