Roger, I don't know how you are measuring your pipe but if it is truly 12.75, it is an exhaust diverter, not a pipe... Pull it to 13.50000000 and leave it there. Prop to whatever the boat likes. Actually, since you are racing against me, leave it where it is...:-) Joe

Yes, body filler works well in the finishing stage. I would not use it for any structural filling, but we use it in the very thin form, sometimes called Icing. This stuff is polyester body filler but very thin. We appply a thin coat to the entire hull and sand most of it back off for a perfect surface. Joe

I will be at the pond this weekend. I have motel reservations anyway... We lost our machine operator and I just figured that I would be at that machine all weekend, but it turned out okay. This test session is very important for us... See you in the morning around 10:00-10:30.
