RE: Thunder Tiger Outlaw Jr OBL RC Boat Brushless 40a ESC
I do have one.had it for a couple months..Personally ide say its a bit on the slow side unfortunately, The handling is pretty good other then the normal tendancy to pull left due to the rotation of the prop. I ended up taking out the electronics and puttin it in my "nqd tear into" boat. I wouldnt really recommend upgrading this because you'll run into too many problems[:'(]

RE: Advice on thunder tiger outlaw jr. upgrade
Srt10, i was running 3 to 4s 2200's in it stock with stock prop. I then upgraded prop to octura x440 but it didnt do much. I see that the ul-1 has a 3656 2030kv motor, i happen to have a 3650 2080kv motor with water jacket and have a 50 watercoled esc coming, would this be an okay setup? If so what kind of lipo range should i use cause i have 2 (2s 2200mah) batteries layin around. Oh i forgot to mention i have a 32mm 3 blade prop (P1.7D1/8x3) in my long list of parts i want to use..is that to much for the motor and esc to handle? Thanks

RE: Unofficial
Hey spektrumflux. I believe you could incorperate that stock servo with a little bit of wiring..problem is, no one uses that type of servo anymore with the good stuff(Spektrum, Futaba, JR, etc.) They all use the standard 3 wire servo wires as you probably have seen. The only way i could see the 5 wire servo setup they have in there working is with an old setup that no one seems to makes anymore..i had this setup in a somewhat old plane bout 7 years ago. So that servo is pretty much out of the picture. Sorry
