RE: Dream is coming true today...
Looks like that nose mod access hatch is catching on. You did a nice job. Makes things much easier for getting to batteries etc. 46-47 lbs seems to be the realistic weight. Mine is 47 lbs. I have A 32 oz main tank and a 32 oz smoke tank. That provides a comfortable 10 minute flight with a P-160. K.O.

RE: What was your first R/C
You and I are from the same era. My 1st Rc was a Trixter Beam Citizenship single channel, rubber powered escapment and a K&B 15 or 19. Everything was hand launched back then. I also built a lot of DeBolt products i.e. Trainer, Champion, Cruiser. K.O.

RE: Measuring turbine health
I 3rd Jacks statement. I listen to every shut down but don't measure temps or voltage. Probably should. This summer I heard a different noise on shut down on my P-160 at 23 hours, sent it in and it only needed bearings. Kind of like your car when you hear something different something is probably wrong. K.O.

RE: First jet for a good pilot?
No one mentioned the Tuano. Does it all, fast, slow, aerobatic, great on grass (trailing link gears), no gear doors , good size, good looking and a great kit. The only down side, a little expensive. K.O.

RCISFUN Yes I'm talking about receiver power hooked to the sequencer and the valves plugged in the sequencer. I will try your last suggestion tomorrow and report back in the evening. Tomorrow looks like one of our last flying days so I'm going to take advantage of it. TX K.O.

RE: Jet tronic air valves
Mario I also had the 5 U valves in fact I've had 4 of them. They all failed. Good concept, simple and cheaper in the long run if they work. I agree the Robarts are simple but I have Jet Tronics in another jet for over 2 years and zero problems. I'll give them one more try. RX K.O.
