I have to agree with Matt since I was the one shooting the video. I was expecting a much better flying ultimate than what we were experiencing. It was a handfull from the word go. Matt's an excellent pilot and was flying it about as good as anyone could with the characteristics being displayed from it. Kind of puzzling really. Keith

H9 Extra 260
I have a H9 Extra 260 that I was thinking of putting the Fuji BT-43EI in. I had a 3W-24 in it and it weighed 12 3/4lbs. I think I would be just at 13 or just over with the 43. Have you seen this combination? If so has was the performance, as far as vertical, 3d capable, etc? Thanks, Keith

I have a couple of questions for you guys. I just ordered this kit as well and I'm wandering how I will know if the markings on the firewall for the engine location are correct or not? Also could someone tell me what the inside measurment of the cowl is? I have a ZDZ 80 twin that I plan on mounting. If its too big, I suppose I will have to look for a DA 50 as well. Thanks

Extra 260 wing and stab tube
I am trying to find a carbon fiber wing and stabalizer tube to replace the aluminum ones in the Hanger 9 kit. Has anyone done this and where did you get the tubes. I tried Troy Built Models today and I was told that they were an odd size. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mike, will a 3W-24 work for the H9 260
I was wandering if the 3W-24 would work on this plane. I see from the discription that it calls for a 180 on up, so I was hoping it might work if the weight was kept down to around 12-13lbs. The 3W-24 seems to be way stronger than a person would think for its size. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Keith

So basically your telling me I wasted $70 bucks on the Hacker that's supposed to be so great. So what would the Hacker go in. I have been looking at the new E-flite Yak. Would that be a good match for it? So what is wrong with the Hacker 4900kv? Why would a another moter of the same type, such as the Himax or the E-flite Park motors outperform it by alot. I mean this is literally the worst flying plane I have flown as far as power goes?

I think my memory has failed me for sure. I will have to take it back to get it measured again. I do know that we proped it as close to the ratings of the pack and motor as we could. I can't remember for the life of me what the measurements were though. I will come back with those.

I will try to answer both your questions. I counted last night and it was a 10 tooth pinion. As far as the amps, I don't have the meter to measure it right now, but when I had put it together I took it back to the hobby shop and they measured it for me and I think it was around 7-10 amps continuous and 18 or 19 amps burst. Can't remember for sure. I will have to take it back and get it measured again. Thanks
