RE: Something Extra Throws
Love Wire, I had to change the post, looked good in the editor, not in the post. It now better shows the low & high rates. I'm worried the low rates may still be to much for first flight. Thanks, KW_Counter

RE: BEC 5amp enoguh for 6 servos
Remember, the higher the voltage the higher the current draw. If you lower the output to 5 volts the better chance the 5 amp BEC will work. Good Luck, KW_Counter

RE: LVC IC PCB for 5S Lipo
Joe, I think you are over thinking the situation. I to have converted my Ryobi to LiPo. I didn't put in any alarm circuitry. When your voltage gets down to 3.3 vpc you will be so dissatisfied with its performance you will charge it. Just my opinion and experience. Good Luck, KW_Counter

RE: How many wing bolts?
The purpose of using nylon bolts is so they will pop off in a crash. The separation of main parts may lessen the damage on one or both of them. I would go with the designers original plans. Good Luck, KW_Counter

RE: power supply output .30v over. how to reduce?? PLEASE HELP.
There should be a way to adjust the voltage. If that doesn't work then putting a diode in series will drop the voltage .7 volt. Make sure it can handle the current being drawn. Good Luck, KW_Counter

4 Stroke Throttle Linkage
To hook up the throttle on my OS 4 stroke I need to pass the throttle and then bend the wire back 180 degrees to the carb. I understand this is a common situation with 4 strokes. I can either put 2 90 degree bends in the wire or use one curve back. Which is better and why? Thanks, KW_Counter

Does the original owner live near you? I had a similar sounding problem after moving from the Imperial Valley, below sea level, to Lake County, above 1,000 feet. When I switched from 10% nitro to 15% the problem was solved. Good Luck, KW_Counter

RE: Safe voltage to fly
I agree with P-40 Driver. A battery will hold at its nominal voltage of 1.2 volts per cell for a long time. Once it gets below that it can fall off rapidly. And yes, it must be checked with a loaded meter. I make my own loads for my $18 Wal Mart multimeter. I use about 24 ohms so I get about 200 mAh. Using 300 mAh load would be better. RE: Help with identifying connectors!
Do a web search for Anderson Power Poles. They come in many varieties. The small ones, as shown, come in 15, 30 & 45 amp. The only difference is the lug size for bigger wire. You will probably be able to beat Tower's prices and have better choices. I use them on my planes and chargers and got by brother-in-law to use them on his trucks. Good Luck, KW_Counter

After Run Oil into a 4 Stroke
Bax, What is the proper way to inject after run oil into a 4 stroke engine? Most carbs seem to be pointing down. Not as easy as a 2 stroke. How much oil should be injected? If the engine is cowled, are there alternate methods that can be used? May I reprint part or all of your sticky on use of after run oil in our clubs newsletter? Thanks for your help! Sincerely, KW_Counter
