I know it's a few months after but that's the only percentage I've ever used in my life.

Not sure about the other one but I have a K-Factory centax and it works like a charm for me, I also have a mugen and the stock clutch and I find no problem with any of them. I can help you out a bit with the K-Factory if you like.

I hink the stock ratio is the softest you can get. How short of a short track are you running on anyway?

Those are cheap tires, I think that was the first part I ever changed along with the filter. I use them more as show tires than anything else. I guess it was a quick fit on to just ship out their car, mine didn't even come with inserts I think. Between me and you, I use GRP Arrows foam tires, 26mm on the front and 30mm on the back and trust me when I say the hook up ANYWHERE!!! I've been using them since the Caribbean R/C Championships in Barbados last June and I run every week and they are still good. No chipping up or anything signs of wear. Try 'em out.

RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread
Looking at this here, I'm gonna comment on a few things. With regards to the second not shifting, the spring setting isn't the only thing. If the front diff is going, you would notice that you don't hear the shifting as much and when it's gone completely you won't hear a thing. Also, if some gas or oil or anyliquid for that matter got into that hub that houses the transmission you can bet your second won't shift. Your transmission works the same as your clutch basically so if somethign got up in there, the shoes won't "bite" against the housing and the second won't shift even though the RPMs are close to the engine peaking out... it would just keep slipping. Engines? Well I personally don't think you can go wrong with the LRP Z.12R spec 2. That engine is sooo consistant and it beats the clothes off even big block engines. I have one of these engines and tuning in a sinch. Get some heat sink mounts and that combines with the engine's big head keeps the engine amazingly cool. The engine goes back to room temp considerably faster that most of (if not all) and other engines I run against. Pipes? I have an RD Logics on the LRP and a Factory Team on my Nova S.12. I have tried them both on on both engines and on both of my cars and I think the RD has the better performance... but not by too much though. The RD however was like double the price so you decide. Yeah I also picked up on his gearing Igotntc3andrevo, I was like "??". It may be possible though, 'cause I have a friend who runs a 4 and 5 difference on his Yokomo and doesn't strip gears as often but I wouldn't try that one though guys... sounds a lil too risky for me. Thats it for now, I'm going to try and upload my pics in this and the other NTC-3 PLUS!!! forum like I had promised before. I really haven't logged into R C Universe for a while, but I'm back. Happy racing guys [8D]

RE: Before i order my factory team ntc3....
Woah, I haven't logged in for a while... Savage.27: If you want to keep straight, go toe in. On the circuit, if find it may oversteer a little but nothing that would kill you (...or so i have heard, I am yet to see this for myself). My personal setup on both my K-Factory NTC3 and my complete carbon NTC3 (the RTR I upgraded from the bottom up) is 2 degrees on the front and one degree on the front. I use no camber on the front and negative camber of two degrees on the back. Before messing with these settings, is the car not moving straight right now? Does it pull off of the line or later down after the second kicks in? How hard does it pull? Is it to the left or the right? I'll check back for your response.

RE: Before i order my factory team ntc3....
OK guys, its been a while since my last post and a lot have changed. If most of you remember I get my first NTC3 a few months back and I loved it and I gt the LRP and I wanted another NTC3 to put my AE.15 in. Well I got the other car in a bad state, fixed it up and sold it without the engine and I fullly carbon upgraded my first NTC3+. Recently, I bought a fully K-Factory upgraded NTC3 with a Nova S.12. They say aluminum is way heavy but its just about the same weight as the stock TC3+ so its either that rumour was fake or K-Factory did somethign right. The best part is that i got the K-factory car, the Nova S.12 and a RD Logics tunes pipe system for only US$300 and it came with a bag with spares for everything. Quite of a steal of a deal huh? I also have been through two more Motorsport Elise bodies which I sprayed myself using automotive paints. I'm at work right now so when I get home, I'll let the pictures do the talking. TEAM ASSOCIATED ALL THE WAY!!!

RE: TC3 Plus engine, having problems
There is a nut attached to the back plate and if you put it on wrong I tink the pullstart would be operating in the wrong direction. I can't be 100% with you right now but I do remember this from when I had the pullstart on my AE15. Tell you what. Try starting your car on a starter box after returning all settings to factory. See if that helps.

RE: NTC3 VS RS4 3 EVO, wich is best?????
Josh222 is right. Check to see which car your LHS has more parts for. I own a NTC3 and a NTC3+ and my LHS has mostly has HPI parts so I have to be really careful when it comes to driving. If the parts selection is pretty much spread out, try your flip a coin approach and see what happens (hopefully it'll land Associated side up :) )..... Yea Yea I'm biased, I hate HPI and there's kinda a friendly rivalry down here among me and my friends. LOL:D

RE: Before i order my factory team ntc3....
Well guys, I leaned out the bottom end a 1/4 notch and all hell broke loose. I stripped first and second gear in one run. how that heppened I don't know. I fixed the problem and returned to factory and its cool again. I wonder if I should try doing it again. I'm looking to put my AE15 in another TC3 but not a TC3+ along with a Futaba fail safe receiver and a Mugen clutch. I have one question though I haven't been able to get a good answer to though. How does a clutch boost car performance and I see you guys are asking about Centrax clutches, whats the big deal about them?

RE: Before i order my factory team ntc3....
Well, I haven't changed any settings on it yet and stock, it keeps up with my friend's Mario Modified Novarossi .15 big block and thats really fast. I got some ratios from LRP and AE specifically designed to accelerate like the stock AE15 but with more top speed and it does just that. Here's something else, THE ENGINE IT STILL RICH!!![:D]. LOL, you can hear that the bottom end is rich and so you already know thats more acceleration yet to come. Loads more rpms than the AE15 and you're gonna need to thread lock the screws. Great engine to step up to [8D]

OH MY GOODNESS GUY!!!.... Ok, lemme recap a bit... Remember about a few months ago I told you I got my NTC3+ and I had a LRP Z.12R to strap into it after breaking it in with the stock engine and then later I said I ordered the rear exhaust parts? Well I got them yeaterday and finished strapping them in today and WOW!!! This engine has some real sick RPMs and I haven't pushed second yet. It keeps on backing out the engine screws though, that kinda scares me. Gonna thread lock it though. Changed to some Futaba Servos too. I'm gonna take pics and post them for you guys maybe tonight. Catch ya'll later

RE: Before i order my factory team ntc3....
WOW! It has been some time since I layed a post in here I think. My Car is pulling liek crazy whenever it feels like. Chassis is straight, wheels are good and not too tight, trim would be set good along with the camber and the neutral point. It would run good for a bit and then suddenly like today, it would just pull all of a sudden. I broke a front shock tower on Tuesday and guess what? I broke another one today? Am I the only one with this problem here?.

I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that my friend says it is possible, he did it on an original TC3. The bad news is that knowing the type of ghuy he is, he likes to fabricate stuff to make them work so I don't know. Try it and see I guess.

I'm doing my comparisons to everyone else's cars. I have to refuel like about three times as fast as the others and we all are using just about the same size tank. Some of the guys use .15 and .18 engines too. I just don't get it.

I "fabbed" somethign with that so no worries. Its been at least 2 gallons over the last month since I've gottem my car and it still guzzles gas like a 2006 Pathfinder. Is this normal with everyone's .15 NTC3+???

RE: Before i order my factory team ntc3....
I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is "The Fix". Is it something for just the NTC3 or is it for that and the NTC3+? Not sure if I need it but I have a lil problem. The three screws in the front, the two that hold the upper streering arm to the diff case and the main diff case screw have all spun out!!! I lost one, ok cool, I didn't pay notice, I really thought it didn't come with it. Then the second one suddenly went missing and the whole block was all wobbly in my hand. Then while reving the car in my hand I watched in disbelief as the main diff screw was coming out. I tightened it and there it was popping out again, then I realised that I couldn't tighten it fully, it goes down and spin. This really sucks and finding replacements already seems like being a task...........UGH!!!
