The FA-72 prop shaft is 8mm, the threaded portion is 7mm.

Thanks, I have the complete conversion setup, just wondered how the pickup assembly was installed because of the splines near the prop hub. BTW CH ignitions are alive and well and being producted by a different person.

Try FMADirect and look in the obsolete manual section. I might be able to dig it up if you can't find it there. Also, I'm sure FMA could repair it for you.

You might try to make a mold of the canopy and using mylar make your own canopy. I'm sure there is help on the forms for making canopies.

OK, I hope I qualify. I have 1 - FA-30, 1 - FA-40, 2 - FA-45S, 1 - FA-56, 1 - FA-62A, 1 - FA-65, 2 - FA-72, 2 - FA-82, 1 - FA-91S, 1 - FA-100 1 - FA-115, 1 - FA-125A, 1 - FA-150, 1 - FA-180, 1 - FA-60T and 1 - FA-90T. Most are GKs and almost all are in planes.

Nice schemes on all the Falcons! I just bought a Senior from a person leaving the hobby. Built in the 69-70 era and looks almost new. Just need to pick some ones brain for the Ail, Elev and Rud throws and the CG would be nice too. then I can start up the Webra .61 Speed that came with it and buzz the field!
