RE: Tomahawk-Design Bae Hawk 1: 3.5
Marty, i think Scott and the guys here are talking about the Large Carf/Skygate hawk not the 1/5.5 one we have. The 1/5.5 wing is totaly blocked off from the fuse.

RE: JetCat P90 RXI
ORIGINAL: Guillermo Ibanez
ORIGINAL: Xairflyer This was posted on the Jetpower thread, all the prices there.
Anyone knows the specification of this turbine? I mean size, weight, fuel consumption, etc. Is just to compare with the P-100 because I just paid for a P-100 for my Skymaster F-16 1/8 but I stopped the order because if the P90 has the same weight than the P-100 and fuel consumption is similar, I will go for the P90. In the table you show, is cheaper than the P.100 and thrust is 105 N as compared with P-100 that has 100 N of thrust. My F-16 fueled is around 30 lbs. So I need the max thrust, (Lets say 25 lbs.) and P120 or similar are too heavy and too big in fuel consumption for the fuel tanks size. I have 2.5 liters including header tank and UAT
The P90 is a reworked P80SE like someone said on the other thread, so it would definitely be heavier than the p100. just by looking at the pics you can see it is a Big Block (p80, 120 , 160 size can)

Can we say my guessing wasnt that bad?[:D], it sure looks like a p80 can in the pics, all we need now is some pricing. Anyone?

RE: JetCat P90 RXI
What "if" the p90 is the same P80se can size/weight. but with the improved tech? then the p100 would still remain alone in its power to weight ratio/size class. as previously stated it would not make sense for JetCat to make two turbines so similar therefore supporting my guessing that its going to be something a lot different than the 100. I personally dont think we are going to see anything the size of a p100 putting out more power than what it already does and if its possible i would think JetCat would have done it with 100. that's just my opinion and guessing guys! RE: Jet Tronic dual valve question
I had this happen to me when i was building my boomerang sprint about a year and a half ago. after trying all the above suggestions i took the valve out of the plane and blew some air true the same exhaust port inward and to my surprise out came a very small piece of wood shaving through one of the two ports that connects to the retracts, this was a very small piece of wood (dirt) that some how got in there and was preventing the valve from sealing off completely. I remember after i got it all fixed i started thinking how it could get there, and then remembered that i had seen the same little piece of dirt on the air nipple of one the gears, and it got there from me sanding the hard wood where the gear mounts and had gotten the retracts dirty from fitting them in the mounts. The first couple of cycle was perfect until somehow that same little piece of dirt made its way through the airline up till the valve. I would recommend you trying to blow it out backwards while cycling the valve.

Bandit Arf Wing tanks/ missiles
Hey yall, I'm looking to buy some under wing tanks for my Bandit, I found some pics on Mr Frank Tiano's web site from FJ2012 and there's two bandits with the same identical tanks. I would like a pair exactly like those, if anyone know the owners or where they got them I would really appreciate any info. I posted two links to the pics I'm referring to. Only have the iPad avail at the moment and can't post pics on the thread from here. P Good news ! I hope you get back on it, i flew mines 3 times this past sunday it now has 8 flights, the first 5 flights were disastrous, trying to land it too way too fast until the 5 flight i tore out all 3 gears!, took some time to fix it and now very happy with the 3 flights i got in sunday, 3 good landings and its still in one piece! i took my time and concentrated on slowing it down as much possible. Hopping to log some real flights on it now with the landing issue behind.

RE: The new Tornado sport jet
nice! thanks for the video. I think you got the control horns wrong, when i built the Version 1 the horn on the flaps was actually the one to be angled backwards, permitting you to get the right amount of trow on the flap. you might get the trow with it like that but I'm pretty sure by the time you get the 3" of down flap recommended the horn is going to be close if not touching the bottom part of the wing.
