Shreveport jets "12"
Time to start Getting an idea on how many are planning to fly with us this year. The dates will be Oct.6th-7th. We have 600' of runway, there are R.V hookups on site. I know this is short, but I'm late for leaving fo Waco. Thanks Kevin 318-393-0788

Finaly got the kit out of "jail", only took a week. While I understand the job Customs does, I feel like I've been mugged(more by the shipping company). I have learned alot,and in the end I should have a great flying jet. The paint that is already picked out will tie into the experience also. Kevin

Getting a F-16( if customs decides they don't want it). Everthing done to my knowledge at 9:00 am, but at 5:00pm they went home so I get to pay two more days of storage. It's just a toy[:D] Monday willl be good. Kevin

Just got the F-86D in hand, they look great! Thanks Henry!! If you have a preferance on hotels I will get you a number, Dawn at Midway Travel has always been a great help. Bossier has alot of hotels that are easy to get to .Will be glad to help. Kevin

A little heads up to all the pilots that travel to Shreveport. We have some changes going on at the field, we will only be able to fly friday and saturday, the owner of the land around our field has sold the dirt east of the field to the contractors to use as fill for I-49, they started pulling... side is the weather is looking great! We just purchased our raffile prize, should be here this week.. We got a F-86D from www.modellbauusa.com, the same one that was flown by Greg in Waco.. We just got off the phone with Henry and he threw in the gear, struts, and brake package for the kit, so the jet will be complete minus turbine and radio...
