RE: C-130 vs F-16
ORIGINAL: Chris Z The C-130 droned along for about 15 minutes then the 130 pilot came back On and said "What did you think about that?" The 16 pilot asked, "What did you do?" The C-130 pilot responded "I got up, stretched my legs, went to the back, poured a cup of coffee and took a leak." Any questions ??
Another version of that one, where an F4 and a B52 play the main roles is: The F4 does his stunts, and the B52 did his trick. "What did you do?" asked the F4. "I just shut down two engines" answered the B52

RE: Emcotec Regulator & Switch
Top of the line, state of the art, the highest quality available, what more can I say. The manufacturer has the DPSI as a sideline product, because he's a modeller. For serious business they manufacture sensors for the auto industry. Airbag sensors e.g. This means that they have the best manufacturing equipment, and do understand the neccessity of quality control. You do want your airbag to pop when you crash your car, don't you ? (but not at any other occasion). Also they deliver some parts to the Mercedes Formula 1 Racing team. Desert Aircraft sells them in the US

RE: Toni-Clark Cubs
Toni Clark kits are very good. All the parts are perfect, but you do need to be a builder to love it. The kits are absolutly complete, with lots of high-quality hardware. The undercarriage is functional with a rubberband dampers. The Cub kit was relaunched a few years ago, bringing it closer to true scale. Yo've been to the website, it gives a pretty accurate description of the kit.

RE: Check this Stuff out!!!
Well guys, this is an annual event, so just get it plotted in your calenders. Date: Last weekend in June 25/26 June 2005. (Be there on Friday also) Location: Cerny Aerodrome, La Ferte Alais, France (30 min. south of Paris) Organizer: IMAA-Europe [link=http://www.imaa-europe.com]www.imaa-europe.com[/link] They operate with two categories of models, over 15 kilos (33 lbs) and over 25 kilos (55 lbs) The latter requires an approvel from the french aviation authorities. There is no upper weight limit. The site also houses one of Europes best museums, and includes a lot of airworthy planes from 1908-1945. [link=http://www.ajbs.com]www.ajbs.com[/link]

RE: 1/3 scale Waco
The Barth Waco ([link=http://www.fmbb.de/modelle/waco.htm]www.fmbb.de/modelle/waco.htm[/link]) is a kit, and absolutely true to scale. Quite a list of merits, most noticeably is Mike Barbee's consecutive "best civilian" at Top Gun. The other one is an ARF, and came out years after Barth/Proctor, I don't know any thing about that one.

RE: Sopwith Pup problem!!!!!!!!!!
Toni Clark's kits are superior to Mick Reeves. Its like comparing a British Leyland Morris Minor to a Mercedes [:D] Also, Toni Clark's reduction gear for the Zenoah G38 is much better than Mick Reeves unit for thse Zenoah G62.

RE: Wheres the best place to buy a Wild Hare Edge?
ORIGINAL: RCAddiction The WH Edge is only available direct from WildHare RC, unless you find someone who is selling one privately.
Or unless you're located in Europe. [link=http://www.rc-flight.com]www.rc-flight.com[/link] We've got our first container shipment in from Thailand, and can now offer the full range of models in Europe. Dealers wanted ! To keep things clean, we do not use the brand name Wilde Hare, but SBS, or Serious Big Scale. Wilde Hare models are the best ARF's that I've seen, and at a very moderate price. Flies great, and if an accident happens, foam/wood/film models are fast and easy to repair. No need to buy a complete wing, if you get a dented leading edgde [;)]

RE: Hovering's out....
ORIGINAL: Smokey Kjell Aa...Actually, there is a video out there were an electric funfly was hovering nose down...[:D] Smokey
[:D][:D] Now, there's something to be impressed at. I'm sure hovering a plane is difficult, and will separate the men from the boys. I just can't help it, to me it looks unnatural. The full-size planes do torque rolls, and that is a maneuver

RE: making a gas to glow
If you want a glow engine, buy one. If you want a gas engine, buy one. Trying to convert either of them into the other, won't do much good. Gas engines were designed from the start to run at its best on gas and vice versa for glow engines.

Most important is to tighten everything evenly so that you don't warp the whole wing rig.

RE: extra special 71
When I see all the stuff you've put inside the airplane, I wonder what did I miss: Cowling on the left, houses (in addition to the engine and ignition) ignition battery and dual 6V receiver batteries. Next to the tank are the choke and throttle servos, and the Rx can be seen in plain view. Rudder servo to the right. On the lower floor is an MTW canister, out of sight. Two elevator servos in the tail. In the fuselage side, also almost out of sight, is the Rx battery manager. You can see some cabling from the RX going into the sight. On-off switch and green/red LED can be seen between the RX and the servos on the left.
