RE: CRRC 55 TWIN
These are very good numbers. According to Pe-Reivers prop-thrust calculator, if your prop is a Classic MA 22x8@7.400rpm then the produced HP is 5.4 and the static thrust is 27.6lb!!!! Man this is awesome...Do you have a recent video?

RE: Fiberglassing a Kyosho 50size Cub ARF
And here is what I use as a putty to cover small holes or other areas on the balsa. As you see I used a tiny amount of water to thin the putty so as to penetrate into the difficult areas more easily.

RE: O.S. announces the new GT22 Gasoline Engine !
ORIGINAL: gade600sdi Here we go again every time OS has a new gas engine they get bashed for price by someone that has never had one or even seen one. Your not considering the muffler included vs. DLE with a joke muffler that makes your ears bleed or the other quality features. I happen to have an OS55 gas and it runs perfect since day one. Its well worth the extra in my opinion. My guess is you dont have the money for an engine in this class, so you bash the price on everything. Probably bash Desert Aircraft as well. By the way I own 4 DLE's and they are good medium grade engines, not the best quality but good, but I dont post bashes on them for being lower quality than OS though. HEY on a more positive note, when can we expect the OS 44 gas engine?
...aminnn

Fiberglassing a Kyosho 50size Cub ARF
Guys, I recently bought for a desent price a Piper Cub which needed some work. I decided to strip off the covering, cover the exposed areas on the wing and fuselage with 1.5mm balsa sheets and fiberglass it, so as to finally, paint it! Here are the first steps. RE: New Giant GP Super Sportster!!!!!
I agree with the fact that two battery packs give more safety while flying, either you fly a gas-powered Giant airframe or a small trainer with a 40 size 2-stroke glow engine. But in many occasions, two packs, connected paraller and pluged in the receiver slots may give more hassle to deal with. Personally I go with a single pack of 4.8V in every airframe with a wingspan no more than 1.7m or no more than 5 servos installed, but on larger airframes like my Giant Super Sportster with aSaito FA-150S I use x2 4.8V NiMh Hobbico Hydrimax 1.650mAh's packs.
