RE: 38% Culumbo Andersen video (Kyle300S)
thanks guys... the 1st song is -Rammstein "Feuer Frei"- the 2nd one is -Madison Park "My Personal Moon"- the rudder power is insane on this plane.. We are figuring over 1,000oz of torque on the rudder [X(] "my rudder has no flutter"[:D]

RE: Showtime video...
Hey guys... sorry for the long wait on the reply.. been busy with school starting..[8|] The Funtana does do great KE spins. A lot of KE spins is in the setup, you don't want it too tailheavy, or it will just flatten out into an accelerated upright flatspin. How i do it is hold the rudder stick to the right and push the right stick to the top and a little to the left... once the plane starts to spin slide the aileron over the right just enough to adjust the angle of the wings to where they are vertical.. It will take a few trys to find the sweetspot, but once you do, it will stay there forever.. the showtime does them very well, probably better than the funtana. But it is a lot more difficult to get into them.. I also have spoilerons mixed in to really get the funtana spinning, but it does them great without aswell..

RE: Showtime video...
Hey. I have the YS 120 FZ. I have not wieghed the showtime yet, but i think it came out lighter than the funtana. But i also forgot that weight.[8|] and i have not check my throws yet... I am away from my pllace for the weekend, so i will check all that when i gwt home. I do not have any mixes or rates for either the showtime or the funtana. Yeah, i think the madonna usic went well with the video. that's about the only reason i used it..[:)]

Hey guys thanks... THe songs in the 2nd version of that video is "Anywhere is" Enya and "Sunday Morning" Maroon 5 In the Funtana 90 i have a YS 120. I run it a little rich. but YS smoke alot anyways. My alt. is about 800ft. On the carden i have everything on one switch.. for the slower stuff i use low rates, for 3d high.. and i dont really use the switches on my eclips.. The carden is flone with a Futaba 9c.

Hey.. For G2 I use the Extra330S Freestyle (SD). I think this one flies most like my real plane.. Here is a link to the funtana video... you should be able to save from this link.. http://kyle.macapple.com/videos/Kyle-Funtana-Queen-small.wmv

RE: Showtime video...
Sorry Whoops.... I missed yours.. lol I think G2 I better if you really want to try to work on being smooth and learn how to correct for wing rock. Everything is SO tippy on there, if you can lean to stop wing rock on tere, it will make real flying seem super easy. G3 is gerat if you just want to try some new manuvers. because the aileron control is there for stalled manuvers too.. And when the plane is falling backwards, it will actually simulate the reversed controls.. It's hard to get a plane to fly smoothly in both 3d and Patern type on G3 though.. Also for actually putting together something (say a freestyle) G2 is the way to go... The plane's speed in relation to the ground matches that of a real plane.. On G2 or AFPD the planes fly much too fast. As for the Showtime and 3dbipe... The 3d bipe i think is much easier to fly... Its real mushy feeling and doesnt snap.. So it's hard to spook yourself.. The Showtime is more crisp though.. harrier rolls are about the same. Hovers are more stable with the bipe, but it will wind up in a torque roll way too fast. harrier is more stable with the Bipe, Knifeedge is more stable with the Showtime. elevator is better with the bipe. Flatspin is better witht eh showtime. blenders are better with the showtime, and tipspins are better with the showtime. But for the most part, when flying around, they feel about the same in the air.

I couldnt ask for anything cooler than that! [:D] I'm happy as a clam.[:)] I will see what i can do about that Split screen video.. Sounds like a great idea. But it may be a while, because my YS is kinda' acting strange and i need to have it rebuilt before i can fly the showtime again. but i'll get it done ASAP.

Thanks guys. I have been flying for about 3 years, and try to go out out as much as i can. The last few summers i was out flying almost every day. But this summer I have been a little busy and go out every other weekend to fly contest. That video was actually shot the morning before a contest in OR. I still try to go out whenever I can though. Of course I spend a lot of time messing around on the Simulator.. [8|]

RE: Showtime video...
Thanks guys... I Do have a few flight on it without the SFGs. And i think i actually like it better without. The precision aspect of the plane goes down a little bit, though... Like Mike M. said in one of his post a while ago, The SFGs make pattern type flying look much better because it doesnt take hardly an rudder to hold it in knife edge. So you dont notice the tail dropping as much. In the video you can still see the tail drop ushually in the Knifedge Position at the end of a slow roll. But Mine is tail heavy, so it's exagerated a bit. I'm sure with a more nose heavy setting, and some expo, it would look Much Smoother. Some of the things i like about flying without SFGs is that Tipspins are a lot less difficult to get into. And you can lumchivoc (spelling?)[8|] without them on. When they are on, they act as a brake in tumbles and wont let the plane slide.. It still has amazing rudder control without the SFGs. You can still get the high alpha Knifedge, but the plane is not moving as slow... (same angle, more airspeed)[:D] They do seem to help a bit in upright harrier, but i dont notice much change in the inverted harrier. you can see in the video with a slight wind trying to hold a nice stable hover can get difficult.. the hard part is getting it into the hover, but once you get it there, it'll lock in.. (I never got it stable in the video)[:o] I actually think that without the SFGs its easyer to get into the stable hover... I'm not sure why, but that's what i have noticed... Flatspins are great either way, but there is a little of a wing drop without the SFGs. But's it's hard to notice if you're not looking for it.. and it'll spool up a little better in a blender without them.

RE: Showtime video...
Thanks guys... I am loving the Showtime. I think it flies much better than the Funtana 90. it will do IMAC style flying and 3d without changing anything.. it's really nice.. One thing that i found is that out of the bottom of a blender or any sort of spin, it takes longer to recover and fly out. But i think that is just because of the smaller wings... it is still Really stable, and i think mine is tail heavy.. I have not checked it yet.[8|] It seems to just lock into inverted harreiers and upright takes very little aileron. harrier rolls are so fast it doesnt take much input.. it seems to hold itself up. Flatspins are nice and slow and very flat. (probably my favorite thing to watch)[:D] dropping straight down. and of course Rudder control is insane.. Takes a bit of coupling with full rudder Knife edge. but if you let out just a bit, it seems to go away. I think the Funtana is a better plane if you just want to go out and mess around... it's more of a care free type flying plane. But the Showtime, i think, will actually help your flying more. you can practice both areas.. (3d, and precision) set up.. Engine: YS 120 Fuel: Wildcat/Powermaster YS 20/20 prop: master Airscrew 16x6 K-series Servos: Hitec 645s all around... I Took the plane out yesterday and i could not get my engine to fire.. So it's still down. I will send the engine in and have it going again soon.. [8|] I miss flying this plane. It's a Bast!![:D]

RE: e-flightline.com
Hey guys. I can tell you that this plane is great! It is the most stable 50cc range plane i have flone. although i have not flone the gas version. that e convertion works great! It has plenty of vertical for 3d and IMAC. Harriers are rock solid, flatspins are amazing, harrier rolls are axil, and Hovering is almost hands off when you get it set up. It flies a lot like my carden. The owner of that plane is flying it in IMAC this year and he is doing quite well with it. Here is the test flight video. The reason it died in the hover is because the ESC was not getting enough cooling. They fixed that and it has had no problems sence... That video posted above was the 2nd flight.. lol yes, but you will not find a moe stable plane. for a 3d trainer, this is hard to beat. [:D] and it flies pattern nicly on the same CG as 3d.

RE: Powerline 46 size Edge 540 pic's.
Hey guys. I'm sorry to say, I ahve no info on the plane. I flew it that once, and i know veryy litle about the setup.. I will be seeing the owner of it this weekend. So i will get some info from him on it. I think the plane is over all beter than the Funtana 40. there was very little coupling on it, and it would climb out of a Knife edge. the rates were also not at full, and it was a little Nose heavy in that video. I just might be able to do a Knife edge loop. although it would be VERY big...[8|]

HAHA. I wont be selling my funtana either, Love it too much! But the electric edge i flew, flew SO nice, i want to give it a try... I thought it was more stable in a harrier. and i did notice the tipping out of waterfalls.. I have the video if you are interested.. I also flew the 90 size edge, and it is in no way a 3d plane... It has small surfaces... It will do 3d, but not in a way that makes it fun..
