BATTERY QUESTION AND HELP
I have a receiver nobs 6v kan type battery five cell 1400mah. after charging it on a 100mah output wall charger for 16hrs it shows on my volt meter (under load) that i only have 5.3 volts under load. does this mean the battery has a bad cell or should i goose it at 6v at 1amp to maybe kick start it back up to 6v. thanks for any info. also what would cause this? thanks

dont take it to AVTI on avenue g and challenger next to the city dump. the cadet squadron will run you off because its not a high wing trainer with a electric motor.

being an ama member has plenty of privileges, you can attend every event in the u.s. thats r.c. related. not to mention the support and freinds you make along the way and a great magazine and sticker come every year. anytime you need help with something thats r.c. related you have thousands of people willing to give advise and help you with your problems. most importantly, is that all of our yearly dues keeps people employed and allows the a.m.a. to keep it doors open. 76 plus years is respectable.

the ama website and its business is the only way you'll be able to fly at a field. there's no other company thats dedicated to model aviation that allows you to be part of this great hobby of ours. thanks ama for your support and low memembership fee's. without the ama we as hobbists have nothing.

RE: Standoff Length
ya i would change it soon. what you could do is get some small little screws (like the ones you use to hold down servos with) and put some into that landing gear to fix it. use some c.a. and they'll never come out. thats what i did on my piper cub to fix a crack. i also painted the heads of the screws yellow and you cant even see em hardly. wheel pants are a personal choice some dont like em, but i do.

RE: CRRC-PRO 50cc review
ORIGINAL: rcdana41 Does anyone have a source for longer standoffs. I need about 2-2" inches. Dana
you can make your own with wooden dowel rods and get the exact length you need . local hardware stores carry these rods. just measure the length, cut and drill a hole in the center.

RE: nitro models 50cc yak??? the good/bad/ugly???
ORIGINAL: starcraft1 UPDATE NITROPLANES Well guys I recevied my new wing today the RIGHT ONE this time It took 11 months to get the new wing but it left me a very better customer AND I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH NITROPLANES AGAIN ( wonder hobby and Radentech and other web sites are amoung the few that I found that are the same company ) So watch for these companys so that you dont become the next victim. The Better Business Bureau has 40 complants about Nitroplanes and they cant take action, this will only take care of your problem and get your replacment parts the Attorney General can take action and this is where you need to go to take action and to file a complaint. The only thing we can do is Boycott Nitroplanes or you will be the next victim it's just a matter of when.
you got that right what is their problem...

RE: nitro models 50cc yak??? the good/bad/ugly???
ORIGINAL: starcraft1 Nitro planes: Well guys I bought one to and i wished I had not bought the YAK 54 50cc from nitro planes When I received my yak 54 it was damage in shippment and i reported it to Nitro planes and all I keep geting is the run around. the Cowl and wing was badely damage' the cowl is in stock but they have not shiped it to me and tell me the wing is on back order it's been 8 weeks. I have made many phone calls and try to talk to management they just hang up on me. All the parts and planes i bought from Nitro have been broken or damage or plane just dont work. also two servos I had to pay to send back had striped out gears and one of them look USED !!!... they did replace the two servos. The Yak 54 50cc That I bought is NOT the same plane that Nitro plane was advertising. My yak had some changes that I did not want as you will see in my photo's When I talk to Nitro plane about the changes they just sead SO!!.. and that they are not responable for what CMP send them ( WRONG THEY ARE RESPONABLE !!!...) and did not imform me of these changes to the fuselage, and I know all the run around I am getting is a stall in hope I will just go away. [/quote this story right here convinced me that i'll shop around for what i want.
