RE: Return of Lunchbox..
Bought a GoPro the other day and mounted it inside my Lunchbox. Here is a short video I made with it.

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
Question(s) for Timmy2Tracks, Where did you get your Aluminum 1.9 Wheels and what is the part number? I've been looking for a nice set for mine as well. Second, the Junfac aluminum front upright/steering arms. Did they come with the wheel axles installed or did you have to remove them from the stock plastic and install into the aluminum? If so how did you do it, hand press?

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
Like everyone else, always wanted one growing up but parents could not afford one. Thanks goodness they brought it back, so here is mine. No pic of body yet, still in work but will be stock lunchbox look, love the yellow. Mods: Tamiya BZ Super Stock 23T Motor Integy motor heatsink Traxxas XL-5 ESC Futaba S3305 Servo Novak Glitch Buster Capacitor Dubro Heavy Duty Ball Links 4-40 and Turnbuckles FX10 Suspension Front shock strut tower Tamiya CVA Short Shocks, front and rear Third shock mod Aluminum body mounts Radio: Futaba 3PL 2.4G FHSS / R2004GF Receiver The motor is very fast but controllable; I wouldn’t want to go any faster though. The FX10 suspension helps with the under steer some. With stock A arms, I could only use 50% throw on my steering servo. Now with the FX10 suspension, I can use 80%. Here are some pics.

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
Kind of hard to tell but I can easily run down cars in my neighborhood, so maybe 20 - 25 mph. I might could get a little more speed out of it if the back tires were balanced. They shake like crazy. I really do like the motor with the Traxxas ESC. It has very good low speed control but also has the speed and power when you want it. It's a blast to drive.

RE: Return of Lunchbox..
OK, here it is with the finished body. Good and bad to the body. I hate the paint job but I had a very limited supply (paint selection) on island so I used what I could get. Good thing is I won't feel bad when it gets scratched up. I'm thinking about buying a factory painted body from Tamiya and using it when it's a shelf queen...we'll see.
