RE: Tip-stall prone Cub
Just build it up again. :) Never try to stop a spin with more power. Use the rudder. If the plane spins to the right use left rudder to stop the spin, if it spins to the left use right rudder. After the spin stops you can apply a bit of power and pull out. regards Knut I. Skattebo

RE: PHOENIX MODELS STINSON VOYAGER 46?
The kit was ok. I just mounted everything and flew it. Everything was straight and true, and the covering didn't have any wrinkles in it. It was too nose heavy for my liking with the .46 in the nose. I have about 120grams of weight in the tail and it still feels a bit nose heavy. I haven't tried it with the Saito yet. It's too cold here now.

RE: PHOENIX MODELS STINSON VOYAGER 46?
FS-70 is too much for the Stinson. Mine has a Magnum 46 Pro and its way too much. It just jumps in the air at half throttle off a grass strip and have unlimited vertical with APC 11x5. I will try to mount a Saito 40 to see if it will fly more scale.

RE: CMP Discus CS question
You can just tape the gear doors. I tape the gear doors on my ASW28 and 17 when I'm at the slope. Leave the airbrake as is. I have an Pilatus B4 that will glide forever if I don't use them. The same with the ASW's.

40MHz or 2.4GHz?
What's the best choice for a boat, 40MHz or 2.4GHz? I still use 35MHz for my planes, mostly because most of them are full carbon. Regards Knut Ivar Skattebo Norway

1/8 hydro with brushless?
Hi. I have a 1/8 Dumas Miss Circus Circus and want to electrify it. It weights about 4 Kg without the engine. It was powered by an OPS 90 before I got it. I will use a 700KV inrunner on 10S 5000 30C lipo. Is 3000W enough for this boat to get good speed? What propeller should I use for a setup like this? Regards Knut I. Skattebo Norway

Curare vs Equinox?
Can someone tell me the difference between the Curare 60 and the Equinox by Henry Piorun? Is the Equinox just a rebuild of the Curare? Regards Knut I.
