RE: Recommend a Li-Po charger
I just finished this plane, http://www.electrifly.com/parkflyers/gpma1572.html, not sure if this is the Edge you are referring to. This was a super easy and quick build and other than the canopy being a little flimsy, and the use of a wire joiner for the elevator halves, this one very nice plane. It has carbon fiber inserts in the fuse for structural rigidity and works very well. The plane built as recommended is more than capable of 3D and is a very stable flyer for sport flying too. It lands very slow with no tendency to tip stall. It is just a pleasure to fly. I flew it in 15 MPH sustained winds and it handled it fine. Biggest problem is finding the Rimfire recommended motor for it, as they have been back-ordered for quite some time.

RE: Xray M18T Pro ... I'm in love.
Great looking build so far. I have built a M18 Pro and am working on a regular M18 on road now, I find these kits to be awesome as you stated. I want to build the M18T Pro next and then maybe a T2 '008 or T2R. Let us see your paint job as well.

RE: Problem with Micro-T Lipo
I agree with schebiler's last post. I do think this is the battery. I replaced the bad Lipo with another one and it runs just fine now. What I noticed, when my lipo shut down was the entire car was dead, no steering, nothing. Pulling the plug on the battery and reconnecting did nothing. However, if I plugged the Lipo back in to the charger and then immediately unplugged the battery it was good to go without charging. It is as if the low voltage cutoff circuit was reset.

RE: Problem with Micro-T Lipo
My Losi Lipo would run about 2 minutes and then just quit. This is just a guess but I think there might be an issue with low voltage cutoff circuit in some of these batteries.

RE: Accel Kat 40 cg help
You should be good. 100mm that in the manual is incorrect, suggested to start at 130mm. 5.5" is very close to 140mm. I think there are several flying at 140mm.

RE: Irvine .46 MKIII & Katana GS .40??
Sounds like the Tower Muffler is the key. I feel much better now, about putting this engine on the KAT .40, thanks. I have heard great things about the Irvine engines and can't wait to get this bird/engine in the air. Thanks again. Larry

Thanks guys. I already have the .46 so I think I will give it a try. If it doesn't have quite enough juice I will try the tower muffler.

Hi all, I am mainly a four-stroke guy but wanted to try an Irvine engine. Has anyone tried this combo? Plenty of power for 3D or marginal? Thanks.

RE: Extreme Flight Yak-54
I couldn't agree more. Yes, some of the EF planes are more expensive than the competition, but this guy (Chris) and his planes are the real deal. Bar-none the best planes and more importantly the best customer service/support before and after the sale that I have ever experienced.
