RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Joey, I have used the Top Notch kit on a BUSA 1/4 scale and the kit is excellent. I used a Fiberglass Specialties cowl made for this kit and was pleased with the quality.

RE: Hangar 9 Piper Pawnee 80
I have a saito 82 in my pawnee. It has plenty of power, and the balance works great without extra weight with this engine.

RE: Epoxy Voodoo.....
If oil in the wood is not the problem, you may need to bring the plane inside your home for repair. Epoxy will not harden properly at cool temperatures. Lavell

RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Edwin, Thank you for taking time to reply. My bolts are also 8/32 allen head. I was wondering if rounding off the threaded end of the bolt, in the style of NASCAR wheel stud bolts would help. The soft metal in the blind nut contributes to the problem allowing the hard metal in the bolt act almost like a tap. Lavell

RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Wing attachment bolts on BUSA 1/4 scale cub. The 4 bolts used to attach the wing are very easy to cross thread into the 8/32 blind nuts even when using caution to assure proper alignment. Does anyone have a suggestion to help prevent the cross threading? Lavell

RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Charles, I have found your cub den to be very helpful while building a BUSA 1/4 scale cub. I would like to subscribe to your "cub brotherhood". I am presently painting the cub and still have the cowl work to do. I will be using an OS Gemni 160 twin. Lavell

RE: Which plane?
I am building the Balsa USA 1/4 scale cub and have enjoyed the build. I am ready to begin covering. I have heard nothing but positive comments on this kit. It is great for a scale build and flys like the full scale, ie. slow and easy.
