RE: Hyundai vs. Mercedes C230
My brothers light kia spectra could easily out accelerate my dad's mercedes benz e320. I feel scared to press the gas on my brother's pedal after a stop because it always jerks.

RE: what lipo battery should i get?
You should buy the ex2/bl evader batt strap. It is actually really nice and its worth the price. It also gives you a better place to mount your esc..

RE: The Official Slow Stick Thread
Yesterday i was in the air and space museum in DC and i saw that the wright brothers did something like that. They put the elevator in the front and apparently it helps recover from a stall... Rudder goes in the back and the motor is mounted behind the wing like a pusher.

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C. Part 2.
The dogbones need the springs... Some people have cut fuel tubing to replace the springs though... The exb has a different diff that doesnt need adjustment. there are some costs that come with that diff though. As for grease, keep the gears dry, plastic does not need lube. The diff rings do need grease though...

I think you should put http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&P=SM&I=LXAETU in the revo on 4s... And dont bother with lowering the torque through programming the esc. I want to see a video of standing triple backflips :)

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C. Part 2.
So when its as tight as it will go, with the spur held, turning one wheel the other does not move??? Thats weird... Why not try to spin the spur for a minute and see if the wheels spin. This is to make sure you dont have a stripped gear...

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C. Part 2.
I believe you may have a tight diff... You should be able to loosen it with a hex driver through the left diff outdrive (if you look at the truck from the front.) The bx is working properly...

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C. Part 2.
I recommend the brushless version over the original, because the brushless version has many transmission-related upgrades over the normal ext 2 and st.

RE: PLANE stays in last aleron setting
Unlike a car, an aileron will tilt the plane which is what makes it turn. After the turn you must correct the tilt by moving the aileron stick in the opposite direction that you originally put it in to correct the tilt of the plane.

RE: The Official Slow Stick Thread
I am wondering what prop should i run on my SS? I am currently using 2s on an unknown motor (got it through a trade...) but now i am running a 9x6 without any heat issues... I was thinking i should go to a 10x4.7 sf or a 9x4.7.

^^^I agree, it will be too much work. There are many better models such as the associated t 4.1 that will handle brushless better and overall they are more durable.

RE: Buying Beater and Fixing it Up
When i sold my evader, i compared my upgrades that i did to the truck to getting a stock truck and upgrading it. I would have lost quite a bit of money if i havent found a trade. It also took me a long time to get rid of it, so you are not likely going to make easy money.

RE: X-acto knife sharpening
My mom gets me a nice stock of surgical blades. You can always just rehone the blade often (with leather and some polishing paste) or go to the local walmart and pick up a nice supply of wet/dry sandpaper so you can sharpen the blades easily.

I think that 750 watts was enough for that rig. I think it is likely just a bad cap that you got with the psu.
