Hitec Modules
Yep after crashing many models and sending this thing back to Hitec. I took the module apart and found the PC board loose in the case and the plug in not attached to the board but only by the solder connections on the back side. After plugging this in many time it caused the solder connection to come loose. I raised the board at the plug side where it would not move up and down when removing and replacing the modul. I put a little med. CA on the font side of the plug to hold it to the board. I hope this may help Hitec and any one else haveing problems with Modules[;)] It is a FM module Eclipse 7 QPCM

RE: Sealer Question?
Just my opinion, What do you need a sealer for. I have used all type of them and all they do is add weight. If you sand with reasonably fine paper wipe down with alcohol and tack off with a good tack cloth you will never need it. The only place you would need a sealer is where fuel may get through[:@] Larry K

Topspin You know with all the problems that RCU is haveing with their site, Avertiseing , buy and sell and any thing that has anything to do with promoting this hobby reflects back to these payed ppl doing their job and drumming up business for a product that they back. Makes sense if you can take bussiness from some one else and add to yours. It is done all the time[8|] even with local bussiness. Go see Joe blow down the block, he sells for less and has a online store I buy from him all time and get great deals.

RE: .60 size Corsair kits
I have built 3 the 2 60's were Robart and the large scale has Robart. I see no problems but other people have their own choice. My P51 has the same have not had a chance to fly it yet but they work great on the bench. You might look into the electric retracts a lot of people are going to them becausee they are a lot smoother operating, just some thing to look at. As far as the kit, it is a great kit to build and you can take it as far as you want with scale, most everything you need is available from the Tower site. The only thing I don't like is my pockets are not deep anough[:@] to do what I enjoy any more. Larry K

RE: .60 size Corsair kits
If you are thinking retracts you better make up your mind now[8|] the rotateing retracks are a bugger to get in the bare fram work and get them to fit. and they are some thing else after you sheet the wings. Who wants to see a bent wing bird with is legs hanging down all the time. I have built 2 TF F4U's and have had no trouble with the retrack's if installed right. Larry K

Rebuild it , it will fly better than it ever has[;)] You may find out it was just how the engine was mounted, angle of attack. my SIG was worse than that and I flew it straight in (Dumb Thumb) fly's great after rebild.
