RE: Mixing for KE help.
No problem RYGUY. The 6XAS is an earlier model of the 6EAX. And as stated by folker and andy86na, a properly set up aircraft will fly much better and will most likely take care of any coupling. I chose to take the easier, less time consuming way out. I should however, properly set up my plane!

RE: Google Earth R/C Club Pics
Here is a shot of my club, Paulding County Model Aviation, in Dallas, Georgia, NW of Atlanta. We have a 200' paved runway with a 75' runoff at both ends. At the west end is a steep 50' drop off leading to the Sheriff's live fire "house" and obstacle course. To the SSW of or pavillion, the gray roof, is the Sheriff's pistol/shotgun range. Yes, you do get used to hearing gun fire while flying! [link]http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=dallas,+Georgia&ie=UTF8&z=18&ll=34.02348,-84.800431&spn=0.002201,0.005364&t=k&om=1&iwloc=A[/link]

I am amazed that you built that in the middle of the ocean! I can't tell you how many times I run up to the LHS for this or that item that I forgot to stock up on for a build. Either you stocked up well or you have a Hobby Shop in every port! By the way, sorry for the loss.

RE: how to change futaba t6xas battery?
Red Devil, I just recently changed the battery in my 6xas. There is a connector on the battery wires, it's just burried up in the case. You do need to take the case apart, just a few screws, to get to it. The plug on my replacement battery was a little different than the FUTABA connector but it worked just as well. However, make sure to note the polarity, i.e. where the black wire goes and where the red wire goes, before you remove the connector from the xmitter. I'm not sure if it would damage anything if it were connected "backwards" or not, so just make a note of it before you disconnect it. It really is not a big deal to do it. It's just not a "quick" change p.s. RC-Fiend's picture does show the connector in the upper left hand corner.

AFPD movies - How do you view them?
I know how to record a flight in AFPD, but I don't know how to view it after I'm done recording. I go to play back the recording, but all I am doing is looking at my plane on the ground. I can tell the recording is playing but can't follow the aircraft in the recording. I hope this makes sense. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong, please help me out. Thanks

RE: Succeedor to ShockFlter
Dick Hanson, I have downloaded the Knuffel plans from Slowfly World and have a question. The dimensions of my printed out plans do not match the stated dimensions of the finished model. Is there a way to get them to print in the right size or do I need to take them to Kinkos and have them enlarged or are the plans correct? Thanks for your help.

By the way, I ordered some stuff from Tower on the 22nd and it's not here yet! Thanks again Paul for the great service! Now all I have to do is make time to build it! Rich

Wing Twist
This is my first attempt at designing and scratch building. I am quite ignorant in structural design and have a problem with wing twist\flex. The ribs are 1/16 balsa except for the two towards the center which are 1/4 balsa. The spar is 1/4 x 1/4 spruce and 1/16 balsa shear web. I am trying to stay away from sheeting the leading edge and center section to save weight. My problem is that this wing twists very easily with very little effort and I don't know where and what kind of bracing to add in order to stiffen this thing up. I was thinking two additional angled ribs running from the rear of the spar to the trailing edge between the existing ribs but wanted to get some help and info from the experts here. I already have it framed up as shown so if there is any way to add to, rather than start over, that would be nice! Thanks for any and all suggestions.
