RE: Set VSPro tank to unlimited play (no limit to ammunition or damage)?
<![if gte mso 9]>Hi bwatanabe, sorry to say there is no way to disable the 6 shot function from the VsTank Pro line of tanks. This function is build into the MCU board itself. Unfortunately, Vs Tank has no test mode for these tanks. Hope this helps and have fun with your new Vs Tanks!!

RE: dot pattern/as used on side fenders
Hi fellow tankers, Thanks for everyone’s nice compliments about our company. We try our best to have everything you tankers need in-stock at all times, but for items we don’t carry. Just let us know what Aber plating you need and we will start stocking them for you all. As to the Aber (ABE03) plating, which was mentioned here, we are stocking them now and will from now on because you tankers asked for it. Thanks again to all the RC Universe tankers out there that support our company year after year. Thanks, Gene
ORIGINAL: nexusys Commander, im very pleased to look at all those details you have on that Abrams.....youre missing the tank tracks... that will complete the looks!
ORIGINAL: B.A.D.A.S.S.Force ArtisticHobbies article quote, "We will add more details and pictures in the future." ... hey, it's the future ... (assuming the tank still exists in your immediate vacinity) time to take out the old digital camera & take those full shot multiple angle pictures of the completed project , I know all of us 1/24 scale tankers would greatly appreciate seeing what can be done & how great these smaller tanks can look when adding such a realistic touch to modding them!
Hi B.A.D.A.S.S.Force, I totally agree, time for some new pictures. So I will try to have some new photos up by Tuesday. Yes with the 360 mod, you must be aware and not forget which direction your turning the turret or your in for some pain.

RE: VS tank track upgrade
Hi nexusys, Yes, The Abrams pads are raised but they are plastic pads, not rubber. The tracks and pads are molded as one unit. The tops of the raised pads are painted black to simulate rubber pads, but only the tops of the pads are painted black. The pads on the Leopard tracks are raised slightly more than on the Abrams. For those that don’t know, the picture above of nexusys Abrams, these tracks are considered the old plastic hard tracks (snap together) and are still great tracks in my opinion. They came from VS already pre-assembled but came with no pads, unlike these new pinned hard tracks. The stock rubber tracks that come with all VS Abrams also have no pads. I still have the rubber tracks on my Abrams because there better on tile, concrete and hardwood floors. By the way nexusys, nice looking Abrams and Leopard tanks, The Leopard is awesome, nice detail work!

RE: Pershing turret on a Sherman.....no kidding!
Thanks for the photo’s Yellowshaker. I love the old black and white photos. It could have been a PIv gun on the KV-1 I seen, Thanks! Rex, if you look at the B/W photo very closely. Look at the rear sprocket, you will notice that the track is not connected and just hanging on the sprocket. That’s why there’s so much slack in the tracks shown in the picture.

Hey Rex, I’ve seen this before and yes it would make for a great conversion to do. God knows all us tankers are looking for something different to build. A while back I came across a Tiger 1 turret on top of a KV-1 Lower hull. It looked really cool and something different. Just cants seem to find that B/W picture again?

RE: Issues with M1A2 VSTANK
Hi yong2579, sorry to hear about the issues your having with your Abrams. The only way your going to be able to fix this problem is to replace the entire gearbox. Out of the 3 years that we sold VsTank’s, we have come across 5 tanks (07 MCU) that had issues that you are describing. Each time we replaced the gearbox for the customer and that solved the issue 100% of the time. Each time this happened I personal took apart the gearbox to see what the issue may be. All 5 times there were no signs of damage that would cause this issue. One time I added some plastic lubricant to the plastic gears to help with friction and this helped, but this only helped once out of the 5 gearboxes tested. Another time there was a soldering issue to one of the motors. It looked like the wires were soldered on correctly, but looks can be deceiving. After re-soldering the connection, this solved the issue entirely. The other 3 gearboxes I couldn’t explain the cause of the issue. With what was said above, VS has made many changes to their tanks over the past year. So this could be an entirely new issue that I haven’t come across like a voltage issue to the motors from the main board. Back in late 2010, we received a bad batch of Abrams with major MCU board issues. It’s just a good thing because in early 2010 we started tested ever tank that we received from VS or this would have been a very costly issue on our part. I feel bad for your distributor because it sounds like he received a bad batch of Abrams with gearbox issues. Unfortunately I know how he must feel! Please keep us posted on this issue
