RE: ESM FW D-9
Regarding HK, most of us don't have problems until something goes wrong at which point HK will turn their head and look the other way. Worst customer support and backing I have ever experienced. Guess Im just spoiled dealing with American companies and a great level of support.

RE: Pratt & Whitney 1/5 scale radial engine for warbirds
Why don't you mount it on the front of a Ziroli Stearman so we can see it in all it's glory. Lot less stress flying as well

RE: Joe Nall Incident
This is why I don't fly at mass events. Too many variables. I love to attend events as an observer, but I put too much time and money into my ships to risk this very same thing (which I have seen happen way too often). I am VERY happy flying solo or possibly when a trusted friend is in the air. If I'm up and too many wacky fliers take off (and you know who they are), I land. I don't feel the need to show my planes off in front of a crowd of people. But that's just me, God Bless the people who are willing to put on the show with their beautiful ships to the delight of others. If you are going to fly in an event such as this, you must be ready to take the risk. Bottom line is, the other guy lost his expensive machine as well.

RE: TF FW190 GIANT ARF
Can't think of any bombers that used inlines? Really? Ever heard of an Avro Lancaster, Heinkel He-111, Tupolev SB2, Avro Lincoln, Avro Manchester, HE 177, etc etc etc ?
ORIGINAL: BJ64
ORIGINAL: SrTelemaster150 You are beginning to act like some others here used to act,......
Dude - take a chill-pill. I'll question stats where and when I feel they are not on a level playing field. Quoting how many Inlines there are at Reno only makes it even more special when a Radial takes a win. I'm sure there's pro's and con's for both - it just seems that Radials are used when absolute power is required. For example, I can't think of a big bomber that ran Inlines - but then again, I'm not a historian like you seem to be. And I've asked you for info re spark conversion of glow gear - so there's no animosity there AFIIK. The FW 190 was a rather successful plane - Radial engined plane. It must have had something good going for it. And it's an airframe that I will eventually get into my 'hangar'. Kewl? BJ:)
$437 now, and if you throw in the $50 discount that get it into real tempting range to pick one up for spares

RE: Top Flite Giant P47 arf IS coming
Well after sorting out some glitch problems (opti Kill switch) and dealing with a few air retract bugs, I finally maidened her today and man was it sweet! Great flying plane, DLE 55 is still tight and probably ready to be leaned out a bit. The 21X10 prop wasn't exactly a screamer either. I think I'll pick up a 22X8 Prop or try a 23X10 I have ready to go. Also need to mix in a bit of down for flaps.VERY smooth flyer and slows down to ludicrous speed on landing.

RE: Black Horse Macchi C.200
Kostas, chill out dude 4 hours is a rather short window to fulfill your demands! On the wing subject, not sure of the position of the vehicles but I always secure my planes out of harms way as best I can. Leaving a wing or plane on the ground or on a table unrestrained is asking for trouble. It always makes me nervous when the newbie chatters are walking around my planes and I constanlty remind them of its location. Oh and I ask them to restrain their children if the kids are rambunctious and curious.

RE: NEW Top Flight P-40??? 1/5 scale
Scheme looks great... but that's no N version P-40N (manufactured 1943–44), the final production model. The P-40N featured a stretched rear fuselage to counter the torque of the larger, late-war Allison engine, and the rear deck of the cockpit behind the pilot was cut down at a moderate slant to improve rearward visibility. A great deal of work was also done to try and eliminate excess weight to improve the Warhawk's climb rate. Early N production blocks dropped a .50 in (12.7 mm) gun from each wing, bringing the total back to four; later production blocks reintroduced it after complaints from units in the field. Supplied to Commonwealth air forces as the Kittyhawk Mk IV. A total of 553 P-40Ns were acquired by the Royal Australian Air Force, making it the variant most commonly used by the RAAF. Subvariants of the P-40N ranged widely in specialization from stripped down four-gun "hot rods" which could reach the highest top speeds of any production variant of the P-40 (up to 380 mph), to overweight types with all the extras intended for fighter-bombing or even training missionsHello!
