RE: My new used E10
Hey man welcome back. Myself just got back after almost 2 years and picked up a HB cyclone. Past few weeks have been working on getting running gear and now have my final orders coming in a few days. [:D] If your charger can do lipo I would say to do so, you can find them for cheap and they are way better now days. Also get a BL system but I've heard theres a few things on the E10 you need to do to make them handle the power.. Good luck and welcome back..

Oh man I'm glad I found this and will be watching..[:D] Love building my own stuff and making it different then just what others can buy, one of the reasons I love scale building. How do you think a heat gun would work when using the bender?

RE: Question about HK
Even if it's shipped dont mean you will get what you ordered. I ended up receiving an airplane instead of my lipos a month ago. Sent it back and am still waiting to get my money back for the lipos and the shipping return cost. I do get reply emails telling me to do this and that but never an answer to my money. I hope you have better luck with your order and will say this is the first issue I've had out of 9 orders and not sure at this point if i will ever order from them again.

RE: Hey all, I'm back & with new vids/pics!
Gasman, slash is looking good but wonder how long that lid will last. Hope it's longer then your hing pins..lol Maybe next timme you can call and let us know earlier so your not there by your self. Hope this weekend we can get some more runs in but looks like it's going to rain. I have my buggy running and the parts to fix the merv, just need to get on it..lol Going to stop by after work on friday and see how the track looks, if dry enough will do some laps but looks like sunday will be the best day.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
I know how the waiting goes, really sucks after such a long winter for us. The track was pretty muddy when I ran and I was the only one to do so..lol It was worth it for sure, nice to finally get some laps in and see how the merv handled jumps and turns. Think after some set up changes it will fair well against the slashes this summer. Anyone have a good starting point for the diffs?

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
Well I ran at the track for the first time this year and it didn't last long. Ended up taking a bank turn full throttle and getting up to high on the bank. Sent me flying straight into a fence breaking my chassis in the front. Even with Tbone bumper and chassis brace it still snapped. I feel ok about it since I was full throttle and lucky thats all that broke. Ordered a new one and will be tearing it apart and rebuilding this week..

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
My front Tbone bumper works great for protection but do fill it sucks for the track when you come up short or a little nose down. Seems to catch everything really easy ending in a end over end flip..lol But since installing I havent broke anything in the front. The rear really seems to protect the wing tons and with that I havent had to replace it since installing. I need to go threw my set up and make some chances now that winter is over and we have dirt. My rear just seems to push to much in turns under power. Also may try some other weight in the shocks. I will see after tomorrows run on the track what changes I need to make.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
ORIGINAL: gforce2448 Ordered a new set of T-Bone bumpers a few days ago.  Should be getting them today or tomorrow.  I am getting the set with the chassis brace for my Merv.  I've broken two chassis over the past two years since owning my Merv.  Going to put the regular TBR bumpers on my son's Merv.  Making them both that more bulletproof.
I love my Tbone bumpers so far. I just have the front and rear with the aluminum chassis brace F/R. Have had no issues with my merv so far and the bumpers have saved me tons. Best thing I bought for the truck, protection front and rear..[:D]

RE: Backyard track build
How do you plan on doing the work? If you have a bobcat or something the sky is the limit. But by hand you may want to keep it short and sweet. Theres lots of track info on the forum and the web, look around and find parts of tracks you like to use in yours.

RE: ESC / Lipo help
How is part support with this buggy. If good go with the 3s cause 3s rips crap up.. I know nothing about the system that comes in your RTR but most lower end can't handle more then 3s and even 3s rips the tranny apart.

RE: XERUN 2250kv 4168SL 1/8th combo
MC, do you know if the pinions included in the combo are mod 1? I've seen on one site it says mod 1 pinions but on the hot rock site it says 32 pitch?? Is 32 pitch mod 1?? I've read I need a mod 1 pinion for the Ve8 but not sure if the ones coming in the combo will work with my buggy.

RE: XERUN 2250kv 4168SL 1/8th combo
ORIGINAL: Willystylz On my Ve8 I'm geared 18/50. On a really hot day 30C+ the motor gets up to about 175F after running through a 5400mah 4S lipo. The esc barely gets warm at all.
How has this system held up for you in the Ve8? How long are your run time with the 5400 4s? I'm finding that these systems are out of stock everywhere. Not sure what to think on that but after picking up a used Ve8 I would like to find a cheap system.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
Hey thanks for the info. Still not sure if I want the 1/10 system size as I feel it would take the lCG away making it roll easier. Also bigger system eats more juice but then theres not much I've found other then 1/10..

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
Looks really good Gforce. I thought a 1/10th would hang over and cramp up the merv but it looks like the MMP fits nice. Can you give me more info on what motor and mount your using? Links maybe.. I'm thinking for summer I want to go with a 1/10th scale since the VXL runs so hot. Looking at the castle SCT system with it being cheap and read good things with it. Should throw the merv around with no issues..[:D]

Welcome, I would say to go ahead and get the Tbone bumpers if your just bashing. It will save you lots as you learn to control the crazy power.
