RE: JR XP6102 Transmitter Problem
Check the fuse. If blown replace with a 3A, 5mm x 20mm.

RE: JR791 Retract Servo power- 6V ok?
AS the specs state 4.8V on Horizons website, I would just go with those figures. Usually if Horizon are happy for a servo to run on 6V they will list the figures for both 4.8V and 6V.

Channel 5 is the gear channel on JR systems !! Something weird happening there OR the previous owner (you did say that you have only just acquired the radio) has done some internal surgery to it !

RE: XP783 will not arm motor
The throttle trim is functioning correctly... all modern JR sets have the trim functional in the lower half of the throttle stick travel ( who needs to trim a throttle at full ?? :) ) I wouldn't have thought that the 3 - 5 degree shift would be sufficient to upset the arming position. So I am not certain what the next step would be. Will have to have a think !

RE: 9303 and flaps
The problem is that if they catered for every possible variation, the manual would need a wheelbarrow to carry it round in ! It is not an entry level system so an experienced user should be able to figure it out by trial and error. My colleague (who answers radio setup queries in the UK) will go and hook up servos to a receiver on a bench setup and test various options until he finds the easiest

If Stick Mode does not appear in your System Menu, then the quickest and easiest way is to contact JR Propo Service Department direct. Give them a call on.. TEL. 6732-0200 (06)-ku, Osaka 577-0809 Higashiosaka Kazu Hisashi 2-2-12

Is it a 9303 or a 9X ? They are different beasts... the 9X has 4 digital trims, the 9303 has 3 and an analogue trim.

RE: XP783 will not arm motor
It could be that the throttle stick is off calibration. Stick a servo on the throttle channel, choose a spare model memory, do a reset, place the throttle stick in the centre and position the servo arm on the throttle servo for as close to centre as possible. Use the servo reverse feature to see if the arm moves as you toggle between norm and reverse. If it does then the stick is off cal. Use travel adjust and set to maximum both directions, set throttle trim to bottom, place the stick in the max up position and again use servo reverse to see what the swings are, take the throtlle stick max low position and servo reverse to see if the arm moves to the exact same spot as previously. If not, the the end points are off calibration. If all okay, then I am stumped.

RE: JR DSX9 2.4 Ghz Australian versus X9303 2.4 ghz
The STANDARD export version of any JR set is the 4 dig trims. This allows the user to change his stick mode easily if and when required. Horizon have always tended to go for the 3+1 trim system. This cannot be user mode changed.

Simple answer..... no... the 9303 uses a 5 pin connector, the 12X uses 2 x 14 pin connectors.

RE: JR 9303
you won't be able to use any receivers form other xmitters unless they are 2.4 gig.also.
That is not quite correct ! You CANNOT use a Futaba receiver or an Assan or an XPS receiver with either a JR or Spectrum Transmitter. Its like the PCM receivers, you MUST use the same manufacturer. Saying that, JR uses the Spektrum technology so you can use Spektrum receivers with the X9303 2.4 Transmitter .

RE: AR7000 channel assignments
Typically JR ( what Spektrum sets are based on ) use the following:- 1 - Throttle 2 - Aileron 3 - Elevator 4 - Rudder 5 - Gear 6 - Aux 1 7 - Aux2 etc etc But as you are using a Futaba system, it will follow the Futaba scheme, its the Transmitter that sets the sequence and not the receiver. Interesting point.... as Futaba don't use channel 1 as the throttle ( I think they use channel 3 ) does the Spektrum failsafe still cause Channel 1 to go low ??

As it is a 955S and doesnt have the letter D, its a Single Conversion receiver, therefore a Grey capped crystal is needed.

RE: JR 7202, Changing Mode2 to mode1
The 7202 (American market only) does not have the facility to mode change.... it is a firmware upgrade only. The 2720 however ( for everywhere else in the world except the USA) does support mode change

RE: xp7202 tx battery 600mah
The pack will need to be charged for about 12 - 14 hours prior to use. The 2720 will draw about 220mA, so a 600 pack should be good for about 2.5 hours.

RE: DIFFERNCE B/W 7202 & 2702
I think you mean the 2720. Basically they are the same set, the 7202 sold in the USA is usually sold as either a Heli variant or Aero variant. This is to do with the location and labelling of the switches. The 7202 is also sold as either a Mode 1 or a Mode 2 system. The 2720 is usually sold everywhere else in the world and it follows the standard JR layout. Typically that of a Heli system and the system can be changed between Mode 1 and Mode 2 for the user. The 2720 Aero variant also contains the software to fly Heli's and vice versa. Usually the 7202 package will also have servo's geared towards either Aero or Heli.
