Looking for a special item
hey all, a long while back i was reading about this self-tuning nitro engine system which has like a high speed needle controlled by a solenoid or something which would adjust to your engines exhaust temps so that it would run longer, cooler and as the tank dropped it would adjust not to run lean if you had problems such as half tank lean, etc. the system is no longer made, but i want to do some study on it for a school project. does anyone remember what the system was called or who has pic/links of it? thanks, george

hey all, i am about to enter this poem/story into a competition and i want some feedback on it. i want you guys out there to read it, and maybe show it to your wives or girlfriends (if you got them). please leave constructive feedback after you read it, thanks. the kiss good bye - a dream of reality PS. i'm only 16, lol the pitch black darkness captured all, but could not capture the moon, which shone brightly down, leaving a streak of crystal light across the entire ocean. we slowly strolled side by side, walking to the end of the mystique, and decaying jetty. the air was warm, and the smell of cooked sea food from restaurants filled the air, leaving a salty taste in my mouth. i paused for a second, and moved to the rusting rough railing. she looked at me and followed. gracefully and beautifully, she strode across the wooden planks, each plank creaking from her light weight. as she stood beside me the wind blew harder towards our faces. her hair blew back revealing her sparkling eyes, her delicate soft skin, her stunning complexion, her shining white teeth, her hanging diamond earrings, and the silver and gold pendant around her neck. inside that pendant, contained the image of the two of us, of the day we got married, and had our first ever kiss. the day was amazing, and would never be forgotten. the wind also became a burden upon her, lifting the bottom of her dress up, exposing her slender thighs. she had let out a small giggle, with a grin. i smiled back and grinned showing her i thought it was funny too. the wind died down, her smooth hair falling back down, covering her ears, and reaching down her back. she swiftly pushed the strand of hair away from her face. she was wearing a dark red nail polish, which glistened against the moons light, creating a stunning glowing effect. i sighed quietly. she looked up at me, and had a look on her face that screamed out, 'whats wrong?'. i turned to her and told her. i had to leave tomorrow, for a trip to Geraldton mine, known as the pits of hell. i had to see a family friend involved with business. i didn't want her to know as i didn't want her to be upset, and thats also why i took her to dinner tonight, for the finest food so she would enjoy and remember me by tonight. she began to cry, her tears slowly puddling in the corners of her eyes, til the tears started sliding down her face. her makeup began to smudge and leak from her face, making the tears all the more visible. i said it would only be for three months, but she continued to cry more, and more. she stepped towards me, and wrapped her arms tightly around me, telling me not to go. i had to go, i was part of a crisis team in the company, and a crisis was sought to happen. no matter what i said, she kept crying, as the love she had for me was so strong, me being apart from her was painful. i love her so much, and so me being apart from her also made me have grief. i hugged her as tight as i could, to show my love for her, and to show how much i would miss her, as she was always by my side. i looked into her eyes, she looked into mine. her eyes shone ever so bright, illuminated by the moon. we moved closer to each other, closer and closer. our lips met each other, and we embraced each other as tight as we could, and we both were kissing, showing our love for each other, and affection for each other. her lips were ever so soft, if anything they felt like soft warm pillows, and felt so amazing against mine. we kissed and kissed, and a lifetime seemed to pass by, yet it was only a short time in reality. our lips parted, and we looked at each other smiling. again we embraced each other in a hug, and i kissed her cheek and forehead, making her smile. sadly, after this romantic and final kiss, i held her hand, and told her i had to leave. she began to cry again, her tears again messing up her makeup. i walked away slowly, not turning back, as she stood their on the jetty, crying her heart out for me to come back. i couldn't bare to see the sight, and it ripped my heart open, and cut it into pieces, as leaving her there was so painful to do, and not seeing her for three months would leave me insane. i continued to walk, and the crying began to disappear from my hearing. i lowered my head, and squinted, to find a tear from my eye. i left my love, my only one true love of my life, and will miss her so badly. i was still sad, and i am still sad, as after the three months passed, she passed in a road crash. there was no trace left of her, my heart wept, it wanted to die to be with her. i didn't cry though, i couldn't. i just took a cup of water, placed 10 sleeping pills in my mouth, swallowed them, and washed it down with water. i went to my bed, sat down, and tried to sleep. i never woke up, and i was glad that i didn't, as i am now here, with the love of my life, and will forever always be with her. this is not a dream, this is true love, true love where death was needed to be in love.

Lipo Balancing with Apache 505
Hi all, I just bought a MaxAmps 4400mah saddle Lipo pack and the Apache 505 balancer. My question is that when i plug it in, it shows only 'Cell 1' blinking with a RED LED. Is this right? Shouldn't it be Cell 1 and Cell 2 blinking? Thanks, George

Brushless Motor Timing
Hi, Just wondering how exactly do you adjust the timing on a brushless motor that has adjustable timing? I can't seem to work it out with my Speed Passion Competition Brushless 6.5 Motor of how to adjust the timing as nothing seems to rotate or twist, etc. Thanks, George

RE: Who fly's helis?
if a car runs out of fuel it stops, if a heli runs out of fuel it falls out of the air and crashes! if a car goes out of range it will stop by failsafe if a plane goes out of range, it just keeps going, lol anyone seen that vid of the 747 with 8 wren jets which is absolutely massive fly in the air and then crash into a burning mass? thats about $3000US or easily more PER JET........ the reason i like to stick the to ground: cheaper, less dangerous and if faults happen you can get to it, it wont fly away from you or hit u with crabon fibre blades at a few thousand RPM

just give some proof like the quote 'i even talked to the guys mother' which must mean he is under 18 cause what 18 or over guy would have their mothers talk for them, lol just fill out the form on ebay to report an underage user and get a friend's ebay name to use as a referral to prove this kid is underage. but make sure you let ebay know that he screwed you over first and that you demand your money back. you have his bank details and all, call up his bank and report him or report him to the cops. thing is if your under 18 too and bought the car off ebay then your sorta screwed, lol lol, just say you didnt get it and want your money back

hmm, if it is just a motor bearing then it shouldnt be too difficult to replace it. just measure the bearings thickness, outter diam and inner diam (in mm prolly) and search it up on the net and buy it!

RE: ASICs for Cars, Airplanes, Helis etc
well man in racing theres always a bit of rubbing and if u have it so that if an object is near you and it turns away that'd be really bad because in racing there are cars always around you. why would you want a repeat feature? there are millions of variables that would change the course of the car and its even worse for a plane because the wind is never exactly the same. rolling during a high speed turn? get a touring car and you wont have that problem........

WAIT, DID YOU SAY YOU TALKED TO HIS MOTHER??? how old is the seller? if he is UNDER 18 you can contact eBay and they will force him to pay you back and then they will ban his kiddy butt. it's a law that u have to be 18 or over to use ebay. HOPE THIS HELPS AND GOOD LUCK GETTING THE BLING CASH BACK!!!

RE: Bad experience with Trinity IB 4200 cells
ORIGINAL: Mattdg67 5amps for a charge? That's why you had a short run time. Charge the pack at the lowest amprage, mine is .5amps, it might take longer to charge but it will give you s long run time. Also you charge it, then discharged it, then charged it agian which is not a good thing to do. You should charge at the lowest amp setting, run it in your car for as long as you can, then discharge it after, but I say wait about ten minutes after charging to putting it in the car, then another ten after running the car and then in the discharger, last wait ten or more minutes and charge it again if you want to run it again after that. I may be wrong though, so wait for others to reply and see what they say too. Also why do people love IB 4200's so much? I have an Elite 4500 pack the CheapBatteryPack.com made and it runs great, I get about 15-20 minute run time with it in my Dark Impact with a Mamba 7000kv. Matt
haha, thats some of the funniest stuff i've heard, the battery part i mean. you do know that ib4200 cells are meant to be charged at like 5 or 6 amps as stated on matched cell packs. ALL racers i know, including me, charge at atleast 5-6 amps or more depending on why type of racing your doing or if your a sponsored person you can charge like 10 amps and then repeak at 15 amps and at the end of the race you sell the pack off cheap on the net to noob racers with words such as 'used only once at the state titles'. lol, its all true. .5amps? that must take like half a day to charge, lol. my ib4200 at 5 amp charge takes just over 45min....

5.5 is a bit fast for my track, my track is really more complex and tight but it has a long straight on the side so you can let the 6.5 fully spool up there.

RE: Nitro or Brushless?
ok kids, heres the details: generally a nitro out of the box will be faster than an electric out of the box. nitro generally is just faster than most rc electric unless they run mod motors or brushless. nitro has less power/torque than brushless brushless is faster, generally, then a nitro. my nitro tnx does 60km/h, my electric d4 with a 6.5 would do around only 63km/h while a 3.5 would make it hit 81km/h get both and see what you like. i like electric because i can drive it for longer periods of time and at night and i like nitro because its bigger, more manly and is faster stock
