RE: Apples are better than oranges...
Climbing up is better, when you start climbing down is when you realise how high up you are. I think you guys keep forgetting this is a "what's better and why" thread. What's better, trucks or cars?

RE: They hit my car again... :(
I have quite the same problem. Had my truck for two months now and I started carrying a baseball bat in it the second week I had it. High schoolers have no respect for each others crap, I swear. My EX-friend ran at my truck and jumped into the bed over the bedside. He did the same thing to my friends truck the week before that and put a HUGE dent in his bedside with his knee. Friend didn't do anything about it though, so of course he tried the same with my truck. I made sure he wasn't gonna be trying that on anyone else, and actually I havn't even seen him since. Nobody screws with my truck anymore though, so I'm happy. Truck's also been broken into twice since I got it. I don't leave anything valuable in it so they literally stole nothing, but it still just gives me a "violated" kinda feeling.

Walked out to find this in my driveway this morning. 2002 Chevy 2500HD CCSB 4x4. Duramax Diesel. Pretty stoked about it.

You parents bought you the car, right? Tell your parents, and let them handle it. The school will probably take some pretty heavy disciplinary action on him.

Support the people who designed, and will continue to design better/new stuff further down the line if you do continue to support them. Buy HPI.
ORIGINAL: Sigma.40
ORIGINAL: Nitro Fumes Once my parents sent a Uniden cordless phone back to Uniden for repair. They got two phones back when it was done each sent seperately.
I called Losi a few months ago because when I tried to replace a rear hub I discovered that the stupid set screw inside the hex nut was stripped from the factory and I couldn't get anything off. Losi ended up sending me $120 in new parts when I really only needed two small pieces.
HPI service is the same way. I think it's really the American RC manufacturers as a whole just have great customer service.

Open it in paint, go to save as, change the type to .gif, then upload it again. It'll work. It's a data storage thing. You can only upload 2-3 high-res pictures a post in the forums as well because they will exceed the data limit.

The specs on the motor really won't tell you much, you just have to listen around and see what people have to say about specific motors.

That's very cool. A couple of years ago I ran into a couple members of the bomb squad at my lhs. They have an emaxx they use to scope out bomb threats.

RE: Will Savage XL differentials fit on the Savage .25?
If it's an X, yeah, they fit. You'll need to put your X drive cups on them though, or get flux axles and dog bones. The Flux and XL come with larger dog bones than the X to go with the beefed up diffs.

RE: Well call me Popeye and make me a sailor.
Hahaha, I progressively laughed louder and louder as I read your post. I think I'll stick with spades on all four corners though, I'm not big on the pimp theme, lol. That'd be pretty awesome on a shelf queen though. You're right in that they look kinda like arrows, the first couple I drew up looked even more like arrows, but I changed 'em up a bit to get a spades look I liked more. I could switch them around, but I tried it that way and I personally liked the in better.

Drew these up today. Spades wheels for my baja. Pretty sweet, mhmm? Should get them machined out soon too. Weigh about a pound each, though. Lol. Shelf wheels maybe? That's how I started out too, and I've never had anybody else fix my stuff. Between spending quite a bit of time staring and doing things wrong, I've learned a lot and now know these things inside and out. Just hamg to it and tryy to do things on your own amd you'll be amazed what you can do.

RE: Convert a Monster XX to somthing better
1. You would have to remove all of the electronics and retrofit a steering servo as well, but the tranny wouldn't hold up and you can't get replacement parts so it wouldn't really be worth it. 2. Are you really in Antarctica?

Just kidding, every company has thier strengths and weaknesses. If you're looking for an on-road, Traxxas is definetely not the way to go though. HPI puts out a good on-road, not the best though. I'd head over to the electric on-road section if I were you and see what they have to say. Will be much more helpful that most of us.
