Does the power set up that the sell as a package for the Easy Glider Pro have similar power as the Radian (not Radian Pro).

Hey I just seen the new electric retracts and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them yet? Also is it true that the Jet Cat 160 SX is a pound lighter than the Jet Central Rhino>

RE: Boomerang XL II
I fully understand that, but I guess what I'm getting at for the extra fuel burned and the cost is the 120 more effiecent. (longer flight times) and more fun in the air is what i'm looking for. I like you am leaning towards the 160. But If Jet Central comes out with a Rhino with a Kero start I might just go that direction. Whos to know at this point, choices, choices, choices.

RE: Boomerang XL
I did buy the hardware kit from Patricia and it is nice, have bought (6) JR 8411 for the flying surfaces and am buying (3) JR 2721 for flaps and steering. I have also got the Jet-Tech fuel tank and had him make me and addition tank which is split in the middle and am going to use half for fuel and the other side for smoke fluid. Just need the retracts and turbine and I'm ready to go.

RE: Boomerang XL
Well I can't say much for sure, I have went back to work to help get my son thru college and that has been hard monies wise. So I hope to get my retracts soon, then after going to Joe Nall in May. If I don't buy another 3D machine there, I'll buy the Jet Cat 120 SX for the boomer, I have went back and fourth between the Jet 120 SX and the Jet Central Rhino. What's your thoughts on these two turbines.

Hey Highorse, It's been awhile for me posting on the Boomerang XL. But I have gotten back to work on it after returning home to KY, I have purchased 6, JR 8411 for the flying surfaces and have on order 3 JR 2721 for the flaps an steering. After Christmas and buying the wife new carpet for the house (yep we have to trade off on buying) then it's my turn again for the retracts. Have you been flying your boomer this summer much?

RE: Perry GA show
ORIGINAL: jonkoppisch Nope... I decided to build a little trailer for going to events. I have a huge 6x12 v nose but it still sucks a lot of gas and is a pain to haul around. I decided to build a small 42" square by 10' long trailer so I can haul a couple of jets, warbirds or a 40% to the field. I finished it the other day and road tested it yesterday. Couldn't even tell it was behind the car!!!! SWEET!!!!! I figure if I need more than 2 planes at an event I'm in big trouble!!!!
Yep I know the feeling, I had a 5 x 10 enclosed trailer, and with my two motorcycles and planes it just wasn't cutting it. So I bought a 7 x 16 enclosed trailer and it works perfect for me. I haul my golf cart in the front when we go to Joe Nall every year. And I have and rack built in the back from E-Track and haul my bigger 40% and bigger ones on the bottom and it will hold two 35% on the top rack. I'll have to check out the lebanon show.

So I joined the club up here at Hamburg, PA the Dark side boys. They have a really nice Jet meet every year.

I notice your fuse has wood pins which is what I had on my first boomer . Either way the boomer
