RE: Fly Eagle F-14 Build
I did about 80 flights with mine, high maintenance, definitely, If you dont,,, wait for the problems, the gear was also starting to show signs of wear and the wing mech was always stripped and cleaned after all flying sessions, mine was an early kit but i put about 400 hours into re-machieing and rebuilding makeing sure everythng was right. It was a work of pleasure which gave me rewards in this hobby , I always wanted an F14 and the only way was to need it so bad I didnt mind the work with it. I considered mine as being successful as each time it flew the wings were swept back and I had fun flying it it gave me a buzz and thats what the hobby is about, what i get out of it. I think time will tell and when there is suddenly lots of F14 up for sale second hand ,this will tell us all how much work is required to keep them serviceable. ;-)

RE: Fly Eagle Vs Jet legend Vs Skymaster vs Fei Bao
Skymaster built and owned, 2xF16 1/6th scale , F4, Sabre F86, A10 , Jet ledgend, F22, 2xF16 1/6th scale,F15B, 1xF16 1/8th ,Mirage Flyeagle, F14, F16 1/8th, F18 A10. Fei Bao F4, Euro fighter. Skymaster, out and out quality U/C that work, in the air and on the ground with superb handling quality, good scale outline, rivets and paint work all excellent, Quick to build as very few problems as all the ground work has been done, . I think most aircraft are damaged by gear problems and bad materials used in Landing gears, Skymaster do not suffer in this way,So its 1st place to Skymaster, It is total pieace of mind , I just have to wait so long for kits, why because so many people are buying Skymaster, perhaps thats an answer to this poll after all. Demand must speak for its self, I wish they would install horns, ...... As for a total package then Comp ARF must be looked at as must BVM and others but in the poll we were only given SM FEI JETL AND FLEGAL .

RE: Powerbox Cockpit SRS Problems
Sicliclk, just test it, the first one I had I put into F14 , i have them in two cougars , one in An A10 also A Comp arf P47 and not a single problem, yes I have seen one pluged in wrong and PUFF the magic dragon or Tich as it goes when its pluged in wrong , came in to play, but really they are the best on the market, In india yes, Ragz did look at the frame counter and did,nt reset it to normal screen ,so the sequencer didnt work I knew about this and said to Ragz during the flight. Also if a battery fails to turn on because of switch or bad battery conection or some other problem , sequencer will not work, it is a warning to look at things. Powerbox-systems leave nothing untested they are very good at what they do, I have total trust in the systems they develop, If you use a large number of channels and want redundancy this is the best.... opps here we go.

RE: Skymaster G2 F16 arrives
Yes major changes are new molds, with more detail, and dare I say it , so the experts with 1000s of posts and no aircraft to show can rip me apart, a new tail end that's suppose to be more scale, and it is very light, the build quality is great , I have had more time to look over this now and the fin has been made stronger and the aileron servos now go into the root of the wing so no hatch underneath. The geardoor fits and hinge system is to die for.....as far as I,m concerned the scheme is close enough for me as all ill be doing with it is flying and burning Kero, not dreaming it. I highly recommend this as a F16 I hope it flies as good as my last SM F16.

RE: skymaster a10 gear
when all air is out of oleo ,keepfilling with oil work the strut up and down, or in and out ,holding up right, ,on the final fill of oil push the strut, oleo all the way in, then put the air valve/oil fill plug back in, then charge to the correct pressure, I use 110 psi and they sit nice, it depends on weight of model. regards, Mark Hinton.

RE: FEJ F-14 Maiden AWESOME
When the wings are back the rates are cut by about 40% and expo from 40 to 55% just keep it smooth, I once had to land with wings in swept position,( diode burnt out on return motor wire) but it was just like a big delta but keep speed up and fly it in as the elev goes soft on my second pass I turned rates on elev back up and no bother, it is in roll she becomes very sensitive. Nice to see another one flying. They do fly very nice.

On my FEJ F14 i did split the rear flap at 70 ail 30 % flap, she used to land beautifully with flap deployed I ran through this with Lowell, my F14 saw over 77 flights before it went back to Germany, I really miss it , mind you I used less fuel without it last year.LOL.
