RE: raw airsoft gun footage
Ive never bought anything from this Creaping death weirdo and nor do i ever intend too. I think it was since they made that peice of bullshit sound system that was just a speaker getng vibrated the shit out of, it wasnt even recorded sounds it was just differentiating power going into a speaker. I laughed so hard at that waste of time. anyway, took me about 5 mins to load this damn page because this site is broken and full of adverts plastered left right at center, know i know another reason why i left this.. place. ta'rar.

RE: RCCommand Battle Systems
ORIGINAL: darkith Not to belabor the point, but Bill@RCC has already admitted to me that the RCC main board is basically copied from my DBC-HL main board. He claims that it was "redesigned" for certain features, but if I took the design of a Mustang, slapped a different spoiler and carburetor on it and call it redesigned, you can bet Ford would sue my pants off if I started churning out cars from my own factories. And regarding patents...a patent protects an *idea* or process. Tamiya could have patented the concept of an IR based battle system for tanks. Once an idea has been freely released without a patent, it can't be patented by somebody else, as prior art exists. Anybody can use unpatented ideas (e.g. the general idea of an automobile is not protected by patent). You can't patent the idea of a pair of scissors, but if you came up with a really *different* pair of scissors (e.g. cuts uses light sabers) you could patent that specific type. Now copyright is different. Every "creative work" is *automatically* copywritten. PCB design and artwork falls into this category, as does software. Copy it directly, or copy it with minor changes (a derived work) and it's still illegal to produce without permission of the copyright owner (which by default is the creator unless he/she sells that right). So, my work is automatically protected by copyright. Bill has already admitted to me that the RCC design is a derivative work. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the software was also copied. The sad thing is that I would have been pleased to collaborate and produce an even better system with our combined resources....but I was never even asked. I have some great ideas for a next gen DBC, but it may not be worth producing if it'll be ripped off. D.
hi there, I have 2 of your battlesystems allreay and they allowed me to contribute with IR battles between tamiya's, and thats just brilliant, it lets people who cant afford the luxury of tamiya's experience the same game :D I look really forward to your next gen DBC, i probably wont buy any RCC modules, and certainly not until the copyright issue is cleared up, good luck Darkith, i wish you all the best, Matt

RE: turret will not fire
on the inside of the tank, near the turret screwed to the roof of the tank their will be a small peice of what looks like circuit board (really only a connector board), if any of the wires have come off that its your problem, it happens alot to me when i repeatedly remove the upper hull. if your not too good with a soldering iron you can pull the other wires off and replace with a 3 long terminal block. it seems however that you have 2 functions gone, so dont just solder or screw them back on or in, test them forst by pressing the exposed wire against the connections, dont touch it though, dont want anybody getting hurt on my back. press the elevation and fire commands to check. thanks, hope this helps, Matt

RE: Super Pershing Build
oh just a quick thing i forgot to mention, the panels i left in the sides are also their as an air channel, if you have a pershing you will see what i mean, when the screw to hold the battery hatch thing is im going to mount a fan on top, and the air will blow down the old battery compartment where i will mount the el-mod after ive properly sealed it up, and at the very back of the battery compartment on either side i have cut a hole, so the air can escape the back the result will be that is touches every board ( the air) and hopefully drags the heat with it. the holes in the back point to the sides and the rear battery compartment casings prevent thte air from turning back on itself and going onto the cool boards, so the air will go down the back sides inbetween the gearboxes and the sides, hit the rear of the tank and go upwards out on the back vents of the tank! [:D] in theory it will work, and the hot air will be drawn out on the vents anyway due to the riseing of hot air, (less dense for those who may not know [;)][:D]) yey i learnt something in 1st year of school LOL!! year 11 college soon ... damn that just hit me like a slap from an outraged woman!! [:D][:D] cheers guys, Matt

RE: Super Pershing Build
blitz, i dont have that sheet as you said, and i wouldnt know where to get just a tammy re-coil from ?! i left the sides is so the batteries slot in nicely, i had to cut out onbe of the support arms which made it a bit flimsy so why i added the metal bracers, and i still need the blaster for the el-mod to give the full effect ![:D] is that sheet on the pc, if so yes please! [:D][:D] thank mate, icemonkey, mate you certainly keep with it lol [:D][:D] good game ive heard, although the great ratings i never really like cod 4, i am too used to playing melee only matches on resistance fall of man (1st one) and so cod 4 seemed really slow, and was simply too easy, even on hardest setting lol ( hope that didnt sound like i was bragging as it wasnt intentional lol[:D][:D]) cheers guys, got to post some pics of the beast full of cables, im telling you, their is more cabel mass in that tank than their is plastic LOL!!
