RE: Question for all RedCat owner
I am really surprised at just how good my Tsunami has been. I was expecting to have some problems simply because it is considered an entry level truck. When I first got it I was really easy on it because I have heard a lot of complaints about the durability of Redcat products, however, I got past this and regularly beat this thing. I jump it almost daily, I have wrecked it countless times, and it has only suffered a bent shock. So far, I love this truck and it is unbeatable for the price.

RE: Question for all RedCat owner
I bought my Redcat Tsunami from a dealer down in Arizona off of Ebay. I feel really good about my truck, it takes an absolute beating and is always looking for more. It was about half as much as many trucks and seems to be right on the same level as them. I have also found that Redcat is very eager to help you when you have a problem. I did some clutch work before ever starting it, the aluminum bell tends to raise problems with the spur gear and I knew this when buying the truck, Redcat took the extra effort to throw in a steel bell in the package with the truck, I didn't say that I wanted one or anything, they just knew there was a problem and they did what they could to address it.

RE: Redcat Trucks
I have a Tsunami and all I hear is complaining about Redcat. I find this funny because I have only had one problem with mine, I bent a shock, but that was my own stupidity (driving too fast in a small area). I paid about half as much for my truck than one of those "high quality" trucks and mine keeps up with those no problem. Just yesterday I was out jumping it and was truely surprised to see that nothing had broke, I was expecting a trip to the hobby shop, but instead, I just kept on running. I give this truck a beating nearly everyday and never even slows down. I feel pretty good about the product that I bought and I also think that if cost is an issue or you are a beginer, take a look at Redcat.

RE: Not Impressed
the point is that you can go out and have some fun, my Tsunami is not the best out there, but it gets the job done. every kind of truck is going to break or have some kind of trouble. the great thing about redcat is that they offered an rc that was affordable enough for me to get into this hobby. for the money, i couldn't be happier

RE: redcat racing tsunami???
so far my tsunami has been great, i did some clutch work before i even started it though. i replaced the clutch spring with a traxxas one. the aluminum bell is also junk, you can use an hpi bell, but redcat was kind enough to sent me a steel bell at no charge, i have had absolutely no problems, just tons of fun [:D]
