RE: Gonna build by first kit, what do I ReallY need?
Oh yea, sorry...glow. i have at U can do 46. I wouldnt mind building a Sig trainer just because they seem to fly so nicely. Would a something extra be that much more difficult?

Gonna build by first kit, what do I ReallY need?
A gasser maybe a Sig something extra or some 3d capable kit or sport kit, no bigger than 60 size or maybe a stick 1.20 but thats it. Do I really need a jig and magnets and all that? I've always been scared of kits but I need to get over it. Anyways, chime in and help me out.

RE: which is the best RC Sim for the least money?
Yea any sim is better than none if youre just starting out so that you can get the thumbs working right especially with nose-in orientation. I mean a colorful stick figure plane sim would be priceless and save money. However you kinda get what you pay for when it comes to the bells and whistles.

Another "best sim question"
Ok...I have two scenarios. One is that I only have enough computer to run maybe G3 at minimum. i.e. only 256 k ram, not the best video card. I have a three year old Dell dimension. runs G2 perfectly but I'm ready to up the anty. I want to be able to practice full 3d plane flying and 3d heli flying with good heli autorotation... I dont want the planes/heli's to be too stable. Who wants that? So is there a decent sim that I could get for this type of comp setup? Now the other scenario is that I basically get another cpu thats got good bells and whistles, maybe a gig of ram and a nice video card so that I can run basically any sim. Does this change my choices? Any replies are appreciated.

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
ORIGINAL: bovan I'm at 1750' ASL and have no complaints with Surpass 91 swinging either 15x4w or a 15x6. I actually prefer the 4w as it slows the plane down quite a bit. Vertical performance is great(if I could only learn to hang it on the prop longer than 20 sec.[:D]) with plenty of power to climb out!
I dont have enough power to really make it even 20 seconds.

Associated RC10GT....is it a decent RTR?
Associated RC10GT Factory Team Pull Start My LHS has one for 265. Just wondering if its a decent truck or if there is something out there way better for the price. I'm usually a flyer but I've always wanted a nitro car. It will be my first, and I'm not looking to compete, just to have fun with. But I also don't want a piece of crap that will break when I turn too hard or something(like my old Kyosho Lazer electric with plastic rims, granted I was riding on driveway gravel back then!) Appreciate any help. Thanks

RE: servos and guts
Ok. i was planning on using the Duralite one that Q suggests, I think. Maybe its Li ion. Ok...so if I'm using One servo per aileron, One for rudder and one per side on the stab then I dont really need a matchbox huh? Is there any real benefit in using a power panel, especially as far as interference. Or when is it beneficial to use a power panel type setup. I just want to have a good setup so I dont have some fluke end my flight. I've never shelled out as much money as I'm about to and I want this to kinda be my "last" plane for a while.

RE: servos and guts
Well what exactly does the match boxes do? I hear about them alot but I'm not sure what the advantages are, or even their purpose. I want to run a lipo and I figured you'd need something to regulate this voltage and seperate the receiver from the servos. I would like 6v for the servos. Any help on this is appreciated. I usually fly something prebuilt so I'm pretty new at all this so Keep talking![:D]

servos and guts
What do you guys recommend/run for your guts. I do want one of the Duralite power panel, Maybe the 100 bucks one i see in the magazine ads. I plan on running the same servos that Q recommends on the site. Plan on it. Do you guys know or use any less expensive alternatives? Also what are those little rings for that I see in pics that have the wires wrapped around and through them. Does this help with interference? I plan on using a Futaba Super 9 PCM. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Good paint for EPP?
I've got an SX-3. I bought some latex glow in the dark stuff but it sucks. Is there anything that goes good on this material. I fly outside and weight, as far as paint isnt a big issue, plus I dont plan on painting much but I have a half done flame I started on the wing and I at least have to do something with it. Any help?
