RE: ***Official Ofna GT-V2e Thread
Here is my qestion! Any chance these arms would fit the dm-1? The whole PBSis nice and all but it's heavy and for what I'm doing I really don't need it. Anyone own of these and a dm-1 to compare parts? Also I'm guessing this a GT2 length car? I wonder how that 599body would fit on a dm-1 7th scale......things I ponder.....

RE: Super nitro rs4 kit
Super nitro is awesome I still own one, and honestly I think it's scale should be the standard in 10th scale Either way even tho it's a great car you might have problems if our are a beginner finding parts is getting Hard since they car was discountined 6 years ago, I'd recommend going to your local hobby shop and seeing what name brand car they support most and stick with that, I'm sure your best choices will be either the hpi rs4-3 shaft drive of the traxxas 4tec I'd go with the rs4

Nice set up, i actually converted my muggy to brushless about 2+ years ago and never looked back. I loved it, its currently exactly how you see it in the pic except i removed the 2200KV motor and replaced it with a 1717 from the castle fire sale a few years back. I use it STRICHTLY ONROAD its never seen a spec of dirt nore will it ever. Good luck with you sale!! RE: Traxxas finnaly makes it to 100MPH
ORIGINAL: nascarcoffin9 Wow so traxxas designed a car that will actually go the speed they advertise without making a bunch of changes. The XO-1 they call it. Im confused on the scale though. They say 1/7 scale?????? What the heck is that? Its slightly bigger than an 1/8 scale buggy but yet still smaller than a 1/4 or 1/5 scale car or truck. So I guess Traxxas had to make a new scale just to be different. Do they not realize that AE is at 200mph with a car that is much smaller and lighter?? HUh oh well I guess in another 3 or 4 years they will make it to 200 and by then AE will be going for 250++. WEhat are everyone elses thoughts on this traxxas thing. Mind u the traxxas drag car does look good. but there are more than looks to consider
Please elaborate because this really makes no sense to me what so ever.........

RE: 1/5 scale gas car radar at 105 mph!!
ORIGINAL: Maxit911  Hi Guys' I had been told there been a thread started on here about my current speed  runs in the last couple of week ends, it's nice to here about that. I have been in the past few weeks setting her up  to hsve achieved 112 mph this was a good week end. I didn't change anything except a new clutch, as the old one just fried last week on the second pass. I know she has allot more waiting on gearing , should be in by the end of the week, I won't be running again until after the Easter break. The goal is to go over the 120mph it should be able to if all goes well, and I'm not running a two speed just single gears. I will be after this starting on my other project with a fg on road competition  2010 model, this will have a similar engine if not better. So I will try to post on here if I can as I'm busy with three others site's and work. Thanks for ur support . Cheers Maxit
Maxit, my hat goes off to you..........EXCELLENT JOB.........i love everything about it, the color sceme, the set up, and last but not least the speed. The thing looks great coming down the street. Sky is the limit on this thing.

RE: Traxxas RTR 1/8 NRHA Funny Car Race Replica
ORIGINAL: Sigma.40 I have been interested in a RC drag car, but I think I'd prefer nitro or, even better, gasoline.
I left nitro almost 3 years ago, but while i ran nitro i did own top of the line motors, and pipes......some of which i decided then and there it wasnt worth selling and id rather keep............i still own 3 motors that i know will blow the doors off anything in circulation even today. I only kept the motors INCASE drag racing ever took off in my area. If dragracing was to take off id have one car in each class brushless BUT for this type of racing........i wouldnt mind pulling out the ol starter box and nitro fuel. Ill never in my life return to nitro racing in a circuit type set up EVER again........but drag racing nitro id consider it only because the only cost id have involved is the car itself because i still have tons of gears, clutches, motors ETC

RE: Traxxas RTR 1/8 NRHA Funny Car Race Replica
ORIGINAL: BLUESTAR502 For 500 i can put together a T/F rail that will run 1.5s @ at least 85 mph consistently in 132 ft
Agree 100% i rather pick up anyone of those grandmotor sport dragsters which will probably be half the weight of this traxxas car AND less rotating weight in the drive-train as well. Ive always wanted a dragster but, ive never jumped on the bandwagon because i have no where to use it, with the release of this car it will cause a more mainstream support for this type of racing which is the only reason im happy about this car, it seems all rcdragracing under ground, as its not promoted near as much as a monster truck, buggy ETC........ Im super excited personally about the timing tree, any RC tree will cost over 2g (from what ive always understood) the fact traxxas is pushing this out at as such and affordable price is really making me happy. There will be many fools buying this car and as soon i as see more and more of them in person i will remain quiet and just show up one day with a grandmotorsport QUALITY PRO level dragster and tear them all apart.........[:D].......JK......Actually im serious....HAHAHA PS if foam tires are not available for this car QUICK, it will be worthless. Hopefully those tires aren't made from the same garbage compound as the XO-1 wheels.
